Is it possible to change your type?

Jung assumed that the introversion-extroversion difference in inborn at least, but I've not seen him clarifying if one's functions are inborn as well.

MBTI vs Jungian functions: Why you can't be both Fe/Fi

I agree with Sali. I believe we can use all eight function. As for me I accidentaly have moments when I realize that 'ah-ha, now if I would decide based upon this that would be Fi, and if I'd do it upon that that would be Fe. Though those who say one experiences a huge inner conflict deciding...

What do people think of the Libya situation?

I'm really interested in it. At first I didn't think the EU or anyone else would intervene because I know world politics is not governed by the sorrow on human casulties but by power motives. And I didn't think the West is interesed in breaking the status quo. But they did and personally I'm...

    The Eyes.

Nice experience. I have a part-time job, handing out newspaper in frequent places to the people passing by. Usually in the morning. Each time I have this experience - there's soooo many facets of people; everything is being put on their face. I can tell who had a good party last night, who...

    Sexual Love Personality Test

Wow... Just wow... This is me in loving relationships. :O

Nail Biting and the N function

Epic. :D :D No, no correlation whatsoever. Being nervous and doing this stuff to keep cool is just the consequence of fear. Of fear and panic that things will be out of your control, you won't succeed, you assume the worst, etc. Not type-related.

    How many of you...

Well, I found Chapter X as a PDF for free, but I can't seem to remember where. You can purchase the whole book of course. I plan to invade the bookshops on the boulevard in Budapest, Hungary (where I live) though. Yeah I referred to the tenth. And on 'added later' I meant added to the MBTI...

    How many of you...

How many of you have actually read Carl Gustav Jung's masterpiece 'Psychological Types'? Or at least part of it. If you did then what's your opinion about it? Just out of curiosity. As for me, I read parts of Chapter X which is the essence of the book, the general description of the types. I...

    Don't panic.

Interesting point. And well said; you succeeded in creating the environment of the game. Of course the two main points are these IMO:

    Love

God, it's the ninth latest thread in this section. http://forums.infjs.com/showthread.php?t=15928 Kind of fuzzy. It describes love as a flow of energy. Which is true of course but other aspects can be emphasied as well. Read it. ;)

    Love

The last thread about love went down about a week ago. -.- Just check it out it's an interesting read. As for the Corinthians what it defined was unconditional love. 1) What most people call 'love' these days is angered by the rejection of the loved one for example. More generally by...

How many hours should a person reasonably work each week?

Ideally you love your work. Then you can work 24/7. Or whatever so that you feel fine. Depends on salary. Not ideally but at least generally you are not in love with your work, so assuming you are an adult, finished education and stuff you work 40 hours a week. Mon to Fri from 9 to 5.

    Willful change...

I think the key is to make that 'relatively vague' idea more than a concept. Visualize what you really want precisely then it's gonna be much easier to go on. For example if you have a vague idea of changing to a more active lifestyle then you are not sure of course how to implement it. Does...

    Jealousy

If you are in a relationship with someone--would you mind if he or she has many friends of the gender they are attracted to? No, I wouldn't. Why or why not? If she's with me then she has a really good reason to do so so I would trust her. I mean if I can get her excited for me then I...

    The "it" factor

This. And this. Sadly I chose not to show of it. I mean I pursue a career in which it cannot shine through, but due to financial circumstances I won't change track midway. Kind of a T decision. I was immature, didn't know much about personality psychology and thought I'm gonna come...
