Am I able without being so compromised that I might die? I would, because it is not within me to ignore the pain of an individual without doing everything in my power to heal it's suffering.

Like EH asks, is the FD there yet??? If it's just me for some ridiculous hypothetical reason, I would prob say, "Fuuuuuuuuuuck..." In exasperation because I know I'd probably end up getting myself killed, and then go up and try to save the baby. Because I know I couldn't live with myself if I didn't try. But that's me. Not always rational.
