It would be better if we could do this everyday, even just for a few minutes,
inside our own homes. But it's a small step forward, right?

~PEACE~

There is a Call going out amongst the channeled messages and blog offerings all over the place for events like these to happen. There is much synergy and an amplification of energetic power when we come together and meditate in groups.

I'll do it. :)

What justifies peace in your mind? In other words what has to happen for us to say we live in a peaceful world?

What justifies peace in your mind? In other words what has to happen for us to say we live in a peaceful world?

Those are really two separate questions…
Some people can be at peace while the world is in chaos around them…like those Monks who set themselves on fire and just sat there in meditation while they burned away.
You have to find a seriously peaceful place to do that IMO.
I used to actually be in a really peaceful place mentally when I was doing surgery…it was a cathartic experience for me, that’s part of why I miss it so much.
A peaceful world I think would ideally be somewhere where people have no need for the whole base of Maslow’s hierarchy. So we would have to work on the issue of world hunger. Also there is the issue of religion…and yes, religion has done a lot of good in the world and continues to do so in many arenas of the world, but it is also probably the number one belief structure system that has caused the most death and destruction.
So while I personally encourage someone to find their spiritual side (whatever that may be), I would never tell someone they should believe in “X” over “Y” in regards to something that should be highly personal.
We are going to have to figure out what to do with overpopulation, what to do with the loss of more and more jobs as more things are automated…then we need to decide what type of energy has the least impact on our planet and make it happen.
Frankly I could go on, and I’m sure you could add a few things…
I don’t know that we will ever within the next few centuries (if we survive that long) achieve real world peace…I don’t see it in my lifetime, but stranger things have happened in history.

What justifies peace in your mind? In other words what has to happen for us to say we live in a peaceful world?

You mean, what should the world be like for me to believe it is peaceful?
I would imagine it to be quite like a Utopic society, wherein love/compassion
is the primary driving force behind all actions and reactions instead of fear.
Where everyone treats each other with sincere care and respect, with
acceptance that only comes from understanding that everything is a part of
himself/herself, and not as a separate entity he/she must have power over.

Yes, a purely peaceful world is quite difficult to imagine right now,
or in this lifetime even. Too idealistic perhaps, but I'm hoping for it. :)

I do not believe in the possibility of humans living together peacefully without some intervention. Each of us have items built into us from millions if nit billions of years of evolution. Which wouldn't be a problem if our consciousness did not get in the way.
So working to achieve it in my mind is akin to trying to figure out how to live while not breathing. This doesnt mean we embrace nonpeace, only that we recognize that some things simply cant be changed in this physical world.
I think that working to achieve peace within yourself is something obtainable while world peace is not and never will be.

I will have peace on earth when I find the peace within me.
Let it be.

Pray for those whose homes were taken in Syria, while they wander around the world.

We did....

We prayed for peace for all the homeless around the world.
We prayed for peace for all of humanity around the world.

I invited every one ...every where ...to join with me in Light and Love.

I didn't judge where they were from ....or what they have done.

May all feel love.
May all feel safe.
May all feel the love of Gaia.
