I went to see this recently, and it was friggin' awesome!! This retelling of the wizard of oz comes from the perspective of the wicked witch of the west . . . anyone seen or even know about this relatively new stage production?

Might see it in October when I go again.

I didn't realize it had been around that long!! The book it's based on, by Gregory Maguire, apparently sucked. I've read all but one of his other books, and they equally sucked (though, "confessions of an ugly stepsister" wasn't all that bad).

It's currently showing in Melbourne and I can't wait to catch it!
