Super curious to see what projects everyone here is working on. I have a MILLION going on lol

My main one is my ASMR videos on course.

I also have my "100 quotes from 100 self help books" that I gradually chip away at

Every book I read I review and then I'm going to make YouTube videos of them

I have my music analysis book where I analyze albums and songs I like

I have several books I'm writing that I work on when the mood strikes

I'm working on writing some lyrics for someone per request

I'm doing a collab story with a couple friends

How bout y'all? I have more projects but I forget them, just like I forget to work on most of these

I have a fantasy fiction world I'm rebuilding. Updating it with new life experiences and knowledge, drawing on old ideas to make a beliavle fantasy world with enough lexibility to tell the sort of stories I want.

Working on a python library for Pyglet so I can make video games (not really started that one but its on the list).

Also need to tidy up my library for TKInter for basic Python UI.

Reteaching myself Angular in preparation for a job (IF the world doesn't collapse and my work card arrives).

I wan tto work on some Unity at some point, C# video games.

Work on a bit more machine learning tools, both in C# and Python.

Eventually get around to delving back into C++ and rust for general purpose programming.

I'd love to do some more robotics as well but I don't have the money for that. Need some Raspberry Pis and small motors.

Dabbling with the idea of if at some point in the next few decades going to do some medicinal education, specifically in the Neurology field.

So many ideas so little time.

What sort of writing do you do?

Fiction and nonfiction.

I'm writing a nonfiction book "how to stay alive" which is about what the title says.

I am writing a fictional book called Lonely, Nevada which is a surrealist story told in first person from the perspective of a 50 year old drifter who is stalking a young Casino worker in her 20s.

I am also writing an untitled book in the form of dialog only so I guess a screenplay about a small town called sunbrook who's entire population just "vanishes" without a trace and the struggle of the county sheriff who is taxed to get to the bottom of it. The mystery deepens when the story fails to get any media coverage and the FBI's investigation concludes "no foul play" in the situation.

The last story I'm writing is written first person from a person who begins to realize others are mimicking them. I'm purposely writing it without gendering the main character, they're not agender or anything I'm simply experimenting with that. Anyway it ends up becoming a huge problem where they're suddenly popular and beloved by everyone they encounter for no apparent reason, but this character is an unhappy recluse, so instead of enjoying it, it's actually their own personal hell.

Interesting. Look forward to seeing it.

I must admit I had a similiar idea for a youtube channel but its more - 'how to survive and rebuild society after the collapse of civilisation as we know it'.

I don't like my voice though and its hard to get quiet around here so its difficult to create youtube videos.

I need to make a spreadsheet of the projects I have going on and their status. Too many.

Projects are important, for me they give purpose beyond family and work. At the moment they all seem to be on hold as I work through all the bull that has slammed down on us all.
What I need to do is put aside time each day, even if only 90 minutes to focus on nothing but a project.

Off the top of my head what I have going on:

- A painting I started years back (water color)
- Raspberry pi eyes have everything I need, just no clean workspace at the moment, would love to add interactive responses
- An older video armoire that needs to be refinished and reconfigured back into a regular one as we need it for storage.
- Clean out the storage room and turn it into the office I need.

- Finish building out my website, purpose is still too vague so it's unpublished
- Assemble a multitude of videos into something entertaining for the website
- Create the background db for the site. (started, but needs new focus)
- Write a ton of articles on various subjects for the site. (many are scratched out, none are finalized)

Do you have a walk in closet? Those are the best for dampening off sounds and reducing echo. Doesn't matter if you don't like your voice. What we hear in our heads is different than what others hear.
Also, some vehicles have great soundproofing, try it out in there.

Don't have a closet and don't have a vehicle :p

Joys of moving country. You have to take what you can get when it comes to renting. Limited funds, no credit score and no right to work.

We have a bed, attached bathroom which is basically a box with a toilet and shower (and I frequently smash into the ceiling lightbulb due to my height), shared kitchen and very loud neighbours playing loud hispanic music (fortunately they turn it off around 10 to midnight but its still a bit frustrating).

My projects:
1. Be more awesomerer
2. Bleed and puke my guts on some dead trees
3. Hug every human, mostly metaphorically

You need an upgrade. Sounds like another project.

Its more the project of the USCIS.

Been waiting for my work card for months. This virus has possibly slowed down my getting it. And even if I did get it a lot of businesses are closed. The lawyer says there's nothing we can do but wait.

Sometimes the we have a major life changing issue but we can do nothing about it. Its in the hands of other people so I can just sit here and fume.

I am growing a bunch of trees that I might turn into bonsai some years later.
As of now I have:
5 Japanese Black Pines
4 Jacarandas
2 Black Spruce
2 Mulberry cuttings from my yard
1 Bristlecone pine (only one because the seeds didn't germinate)
I'm stratifying about 16 Japanese Red Maple seeds but I won't know if it's successful for another couple months.
I'm also growing a bunch of Thyme which can be made into pseudo bonsai.

I would have even more if I had more space.

i dont like hearing my voice either, but im working on this by singing scaryoke and also getting over my fear of criticism, and seeing myself on video, by uploading to youtube under same name. my drawings as well. got a partially finished one. which i stopepd cause the person i was drawing a portrait of, passed away. id show that picture if i could figure out how to upload.

I'm doing little projects to learn C programming language better. My end goal is to be proficient enough to build small custom machines, IoTs, that can perform tasks and upload a logs through a network. Especially useful if I can employ them on a low power off-grid satellite network.
