For A Beautiful Lady

Lady free in the morning light.
Lady bored in the winter night.
Lady freest in the afternoon.

Lady across the sky above.
Lady known but gets no love.
Could it be we'll know her soon?

Lady resting in the park.
Lady rests in day and dark.
Lady walks and does not run.

Lady looks so sweet and nice,
But in her heart she's cold as ice.
Could it be she's had no fun?

Lady loved at every hour,
Never knew her social power.
A laurel and a bejeweled throne,
Lady left out on her own.

Lady passed by strangers sly,
Lady subject for all eyes.
Could it be they'll walk by again?

Regret

Almost a weather man,
Almost a chef.

Almost your lover,
Almost went deaf.

Almost a fruit-fly,
Almost a watch.

Stout as a teapot,
Bitter as a scotch.

I should be by you now.
I could or would be anyhow.

Almost your rock,
Almost your pet.

Almost was near,
Almost was more.

Almost your monument,
Almost your friend.

An entire life with you,
Almost was the end.

Almost true.
Almost through.

Almost regret.
Almost regret.

No Response

Summer left,
Humidity fell down.
Fall stole Summer's crown.

I was met with nonchalance,
I was met with no response.

The blue disappeared and masses got home,
I was left in the streets to die alone.

So lore tells it that fairies sometimes have paths that they follow at night. If the path happens to cut through a person's house, it is courteous for the human to leave the door open and let the fairies pass through.

If the human does not leave their door open, the fairies will open it themselves.
I drew this a couple of years ago for an illustration class.

1) Freeverse: The Sexes
A stupid man saw divinity,
For which he was to lie.
A stupid man saw femininity,
For which he was to die.

A stupid woman saw asinity,
For which she was to cry.
A stupid woman saw masculinity,
For which she was to sigh.

2) Limerick: Disposable Man
There was a man who fought,
For affection all for naught.
He'd valiently risk his life,
He'd suffer the cut of the knife.
A shame his name was forgot.

3) Haiku: Ice Lady
Typical and cool,
She would stare at just her phone,
He was so nervous.

Unfinished:

Time flows forward flippantly on funicular trails.
Tempus fugit how fun.
Fabulous friends fly forward in fits of fastidious laughter,
Following flights of fancy they flow toward floating cities feared by fellow folk
Fabulous frigates flooding the cumulonimbus clouds

Ear to the ground, feeling what I know to be true
Touched by oneness, download from the centre, what comes next?
Taste, the chef's are laudible, that's a bad sign
Smells like danger on the wind with nowhere to run
Hidden where feelings come unbidden
Follow me, follow us, deeper now
To the place where truth reigns supreme
Follow me now, down the rabbit's hole.

At the progress you are making and how well you are doing with just the basics, you’re going to do incredibly well once you advance up. You’re definitely capable on doing philosophical arts! No doubt about it. :<3purple:
