What can we offer each other?

If we were to form some sort of organization, what could we do?

Who wants to be a pioneer?

I offer my artistry skills? I want to be a part of your cult myself <3.

"Skills" I should say.

i'd provide the man juice and Neuropedia the ability to ovulate to create our robot army.

the only other thing i have is bow staff skills.

Am I the only one using my imagination here?

We don't have to settle in to a slave system.

Will you give up your tv and ipod in exchange for a safe environment?

Why are we supporting a system that trains us to be dependent on all this energy sucking 'technology'?

Why are we supporting this system which dumps fake plastic trees into the ocean?

What is the point of this absolute madness we are allowing to continue?

Let's shut down all nuclear power facilities.

Let's tell our leaders to take a hike.

I'm not demanding to see heads roll... I just don't want to be led by greedy people lusting for power.

Let them have their money. We don't need it.

We need to take back our power as individuals.
We don't need a king anymore.

Am I way off base here? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I just see the current madness and it is so glaringly obvious.

You'd think people had revolted by now...
but americans are too comfortable with all our cars, glowing gadgets, cheeseburgers and NPR.

What are we gonna do?

I'd like to see a village/community thriving and completely self sustainable.

All we gotta do is use that imagination.

We really do need to come together and have a discussion about this.

Sounds nice.
I tried talking my friends into pooling our money, buying some land and starting an organic farm commune a few years ago..
But it didn't happen.

You're right. People are comfortable. Hell, I'm comfortable enough.
I think it would take utter economic collapse and basically civilization's end for people to try to live collectively..even then,maybe..
These are hard habits to break!

Yeah, it's so ironic. You'd think we would have learned this lesson...

We are comfortable enough at the moment. All the more reason to prepare NOW.

Make use of these resources while they are still affordable and available.

Use the money for acquiring useful items, while our money is still perceived to have value.

*

An earthquake can put things in perspective.

Nuclear meltdown sure does put a damper on the health and well being of our ecosystem.

Tsunami can wash away a whole lot in mere seconds.

A govt can collapse and completely fail in responding to these disasters.

Our life lines are so fragile.

We depend on supermarkets to be stocked with an endless supply of food...

How naive!

The earth is going through some big changes.

We are distracted with all kinds of trivial pursuits.
We got this Libya action, Xbox, CNN, porn, 'terrorism', 'global warming', tv, smart phones, and so many useful apps to download...

...but wait! Let's focus here and look at what we are DOING.

*

We are at this point intelligent enough to realize that we may position ourselves in a good way, or a bad way.

Our posture does matter.

We may choose to use our time wisely...

We may choose to take responsibility for our own lives. This is empowering! Don't be afraid!

Let the reality sink in. It is better to face the truth than to turn and run from it.

So what can we do here?

Let's continue the conversation.
It helps to talk about this, especially since we will probably be the ones breaking the news to our family, friends, and greater communities.

I do share the same sentiments about it..
It makes sense to quit while we're ahead..

Have you ever read, Beyond Civilization by Daniel Quinn?
