In detail what is a source of true happiness for you?

What is/was the happiest thing or event that has happened in your life?

What, above all else, made you happy as a child?

He said it all for me already:

Happiness is not something ready made. It comes from your own actions. - Dalai Lama

happiness is your favorite song on the radio after a long work day, or a hug from a friend when you've been away ;) happiness is nothing more than the choice to embrace and accept life as it is, to love people and yourself and forgive each other our indiscretions :)

April (May), you nailed that one! Part of happiness for me is knowing that not only am I where I feel I ought to be, but wanting to be there. I don't think I can live without harmonious relationships, and as you say, forgiving others for their indiscretions toward you. Our own indiscretions are right around the corner, large or small. How can we expect to be forgiven if we don't forgive?
