I'm looking for a good screen/video capture program i can use, preferably freeware, or at least one that's legal and doesn't have some kind of "you haven't registered yet, do it NAO!" watermark in the capture.
any suggestions? Ideally i would like for it to be green software (in other words, something i can install on my flash drive without having to do it on my hard drive.

I use Fraps for video game recording, and Camtasia Studio for everything else. Fraps is small enough to fit on a USB drive, but you probably will have to write the video onto the hard drive. USB drives usually aren't fast enough for stuff like that.
They're not free though, I pirated them >.<
