I'm highly disappointed by the latest OS "upgrade" from Apple. Not only it gives almost no new features but some of my favorite applications have become highly unstable on it. Including Opera web browser :(

I've just lost an hour of work because that stupid piece of sh**t has crashed. Arghhh.... ~!@#$%^

Anyone else had similar problems after upgrade? I'm thinking about reinstall of Leopard now. Or maybe Win7...

Spotlight's indexing is painfully slow, and "secure deleting" files takes forever and is unnecessary. Other than that it seems to be more stable and it's definitely quicker booting up.

As far as OS milestones go (like from Leopard -> Snow Leopard, Vista -> 7), Windows 7 kicks it in the teeth. I'm okay with using either OS, but Windows 7 is lightyears ahead of Vista.

I don't have any problems what so ever with Snow Leopard. I just want the computer to do what I want it to do and nothing more. The inner details of computers bore me, and are so tedious to deal with.
