    On sites like Amazon?

Also do you read listmanias and which do you find more useful or interesting?

I often cant understand why listmanias are not more important than single reviews, I've found sometimes that they are better for discovering new authors or books of a similar nature to the ones you've read and liked than the search and association features Amazon runs automatically.

Yes. I always read reviews for any kind of product I am not familiar with that is going to cost me more than 20 dollars. More often than not, I choose to read all of the negative reviews. I like to see if there are any common themes for each product and whether or not they are of any relative importance to me. Most of the time the negative reviews would not deter me from buying something because most of them are superficial anyway. I am heavy on research when it comes to purchasing anything because I have a tendency towards having buyer's remorse quite easily.
