I think the hardest of these challenges looking at ones self as well as the world with truth. To acknowledge what reality is and how others feel and think; how it all relates to you and your personal truth as well.

That quote is pretty straight forward, I believe he wants to promote the good ideas without being convoluted. Traditional wisdom and quotes are often much cryptic and designed to inspire more self thought than anything else. However this level of self thought is often beyond most, which is why I think the quote chosen by him was straight forward.
