We need a UNIFIS, now that Obama has allowed Iran and Hezbollah presence near Qunietra and Golan. Arming Iraq and allowing Iranian Revolutionary Guards to run the equipment is outrageous. Allowing Russia to arm Syria, Lebanon, Hezbollah, and Iran shows his bias against the Jews. Will he arm the Russian rebels next in East Ukraine?

Personally, I kind of assumed Russia already was doing that in Ukraine. Where else are a bunch of automatics and rpgs going to come from in that area? Ie, at the very least they're not cracking down on arms trade? Ukraine is now a total mess, and not going to get better anytime soon. It wouldn't be very surprising to see the country split, and IIRC, West Ukraine is definitely not pro-Russian.

It also wouldn't be surprising if the Revolutionary Guard, or at least elements thereof, were helping Hezbollah. I don't know about his bias against Jews, but the US/West and Russia have been supplying arms to their respective favorites and using it to gain and check power in the area for a long time. I don't recall how well the peace keeping mission in Lebanon went, ie if it didn't just stir the hornet's nest.

Something needs to be done quickly in Syria along Israel's border, or there may be another month long war.

Yes, Putin is helping in East Ukraine, if not the major driving force there.

The US is sending military equipment to Iraq supposedly to fight ISIS, but IRG is manning the equipment. Obama's policies in Syria have erupted into a nightmare, with Hezbollah and Iran on Israel's doorstep in the East. Obama is trying to keep Israel in check so he can last another two years without Iran showing a nuclear weapon. He has failed in that aspect of his policy too, trying to drop his failures into the laps of his predecessors or those that follow him.

It needs to be done immediately. Hezbollah and Iran should not be an eastern front against Israel from Syrian soil.

we screwed up the region. either we work at putting it all back together again, or we agree to pay the consequences.

dynamite is a lot cheaper than the costs of treating the injured.

Why would he? he admitted openly on television that he brokered the transition of power in Ukraine a year ago.
In other words hes saying he fucked up another democratic country because the democracy did not favor the US/NATO geopolitical agenda.

Does the Arab Spring uprising come to mind for you? "Oust Assad"?

The deaths have long surpassed anything Saddam had done besides the Iran-Iraq war. To boot, the only (at least) semi-sane group not trying to force others to their way there of note are the Kurds, and helping them a bunch is probably going to have political blowback with Turkey (no idea how flexible Turkey is on that). The only people happy with ISIS are the nutters who behead and burn prisoners alive. So, I suppose Turkey should be a little more interested; if the Kurds fail, they have ISIS to deal with much more immediately, and not just the border flare-ups with Syria. That's not to mention, you know, a bunch of undeserving people on the receiving end of the ISIS treatment plan. ISIS is one of those things that could probably use some UN intervention in general.

UN Report on ISIS killings. Iraq is a mess.

Is the UNDOF not sufficient for Golan, unless more happens? Perhaps those ducks ought to be lined up, if they can be w/o stoking fires.

What are the chances of UN aid in Ukraine with Russia's veto? Obviously, they'd love to have Eastern Ukraine, at least as a puppet.
