Condolences for Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.
 
...and best wishes dealing with the world for the new leaders. Be cautious what you agree to Tuesday.
 
Really? Did you know him? Out of curiosity why do you care?
 
what a complex guy he was. mostly terrible. but then again, it must be tough ruling a country in that part of the world. he's no longer here. like us all he is dead. the only condition that you have no power over.
 
I don't know the guy, but just recently a mainstream newspaper shared the below comparison between punishments in Saudi Arabia to the punishments in the Islamic State. On paper that is. In reality I think IS is a lot worser than Saudi Arabia.

I do not care. I did not know him nor do I have any reason to believe there was much value to him regarding the United States. He wasnt a world leader but even if he was I could care less
 
Never had anyone react in like manner to my leaving condolences. Interesting. Do you keep up with world affairs?

Actually, you could have a setup somewhere that upon one's death, a clone could be made with a similar if not exact neural structure, etc.

Anyway, RIP.

I was simply asking a question as to why anyone would care. Not that its wrong or right, just was curious. Yes unfortunately I keep way up to date on world affairs.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg if humanity can channel its energy in a way that doesn't involve power plays for their own sake, or bombs, etc. To me, that pie in the sky looks tasty enough to try to learn the recipe.

Saudi Arabia are pretending to be your buddies because you buy their oil but are actually funding the terrorists and militants as well?

I'd say that's worth noting. It'll be an enormous upheaval. Bigger news than Kim Jong Il dying for sure.

Interesting. I actually question why our leaders felt the need to recognize "king" whats his name. King because what, people like him found some black stuff in the sand? Whatever.
Yeah it upsets me and world leaders are making a big deal out of his death but thats just me.

Yeah, too fucking right...question away! However, it depends to what extent you acknowledge the power of the 'black stuff' (not Guinness).

As a collective, your nation (and mine) is absolutely dependent on it. Other power sources do exist though so it is not the be all and end all.

I don't know what else to say really.

Or, are you suggesting there is more to it than oil. I mean, the USA has no problem occupying oil rich land but this is where Mecca and Medina are. I also notice you don't occupy the Holy Land (to the best of my knowledge, maybe parts...not Palestine anyway).

Is there something more to these places than is commonly acknowledged amongst the 'rationally' minded?
