007 Quantum of Solace

Who else has seen this movie? It came out in England on the 31st of October, and is due out in North America on the 14th of November.

I'm downloading it now, and will upload it to one of my websites for whoever wants to watch it tonight.

It's supposed to kick arse, what say those of you from the Isles?
 
I've seen it, it was ok. Was a good action movie. Craig is awsome as bond.

But it was ... Bond ... You can prolly guess what's happening in the movie :)

IMHO not as good as Casino Royale.
 
Well, the fact that he doesn't have his "Bond, James Bond" catchphrase, it probably won't feel like an actual Bond movie.

That and the fact the gun barrel sequence is placed at the end of the film as opposed to the beginning.
 
Also since I imagine this isn't legal, watching films for free before they come out in theaters, I'm going to ask that if you want to watch the film on Shais site take it to the PMs.

fine, but a full fortnight after it comes out in england? come on, that's stupid, especially in a digital era.

The downloads are often illegal even after the movie is out on DVD. It's about copyright, not spoilers.
 
they should bring the movie out everywhere at once. this isn't wall-e, or deathrace, this is a fucking BIG movie.

also :( I can't seem to find an uncorrupted version :(

yea, i noticed there were some missing 'spots' also... i didn't download it, i just watched it...

heh, i was into Bond quite a few years ago and had a lot of early Bond collection... but that was a while ago...

i like this new bond though, no fancy super-duper gadgets, full action scenes... but Casino Royale was boring for me (except the first part where he's chasing the monkey guy)... i guess its because i don't play cards...
 
that card game is VERY boring for me, but the scene was interesting...
 
I really didn't miss the gadgets and the one liners though.
It was good. Wish it was more original though
 
I just got back from Quantum of Solace, which opened today in the US. It had classic Bond action, but without the gimmicks and gadgets, making it slightly inferior to a classic Bond movie. Not as good as Casino Royale, either. Although I loved how they did the gun barrel sequence in this one. It fit quite well. (Just put it back at the beginning of the film for Bond 23!!!)
