Hahaha oh my god that reminds me, Half-Blood Prince was spoiled for me as well. It was like two days after the book came out and I was just watching tv thinking that was safe (for some reason) and avoiding internets. I forget what it was, it was some comedy bit where they just blurted it out, exact same thing. Anyway, I bought Deathly Hallows the day it was released and locked myself in my room to read it and do nothing else until I was done.
The cliffhanger is the episode, so it's been ruined. Just watch.
