For clarification, the terribleness of that piece had nothing to do with the writing, it was the subject and the content that I didn't like, I'm sure you write just fine.

I wanted to welcome you to the forums, and comment on something I found funny in your welcome thread. You said something along the lines of your handle on English idiosyncrasy not being all that great? I took a couple years of German in high school, interacted with the exchange students, and now I am in the middle of 4 semesters of German at university. I always chuckle when I hear Germans say they don't have a great handle on English. To us Americans, Germans almost always have a good handle on English when they claim they don't =P Us Americans on the other hand, generally don't know anything about a language when we claim to speak is very basically. -
