  • Thanks PB! :) Btw, what's the meaning/reason for the choice of your name, if you don't mind me asking?
    I’m sure he couldn’t have asked for a better life.
    I know this because of who you are, he was always truly loved and respected.
    You’ll see him again.
    Most welcome. I'm sorry to hear about your 4 legged friend. My best friend lost his German Shepard last year and he was utterly heart broken, I couldn't console him. I remember loosing my cat a few years ago too.. I cried and cried, and nobody else bloody cared... These days I'm too fearful to love anything or anyone, they all leave us in the end. I just take solace in the fact that hopefully they are somewhere far better than here.
    Thank you. ;___;

    Flu & depressed...

    So sorry to hear that you have needed lots of tissues too. :hug:
    Galway is beautiful. My grandmother too me out on a trip to Galway city and connemara when I was 12. I have very fond memories of it. I've actually never been to the Aran Islands myself. Did you rent a bike while you were there? I'd love to go out and rent a bike for a few days. Apparently its the best way to get around the islands.
    Also, I didn't realise you'd been to Ireland! It is indeed a very beautiful country. Where did you go to when you visited?
    It would probably be cheaper to go somewhere like Portugal, actually! In the last 6 months I've ended up on government assistance medical care, so there's a long waiting list, but if they ever get to me I'll get it done for close to free. I'm just hanging on and hoping I Don't have a problem until then! Last year I ended up in the dental hospital a bunch of times. Once it was so bad they needed me in there every day for two weeks! I had to move in with my grandparents temporarily because I was in too much pain to care for my daughter. They removed one of the teeth that wasn't surgical, but it's the ones that need to be removed surgically that are the problem. Teeth are the worst.
    You're sweet. Thank you :) Yeah, dental care is super expensive in Ireland. Because we're an island things need to be imported, so products are generally more expensive here than even over in the UK. I'evspoken to dentists who say the difference in prices for supplies between Ireland and the UK is nuts.
    D

    If I lived in that place you mentioned I would drag your butt out to one :) Seems like there are a few members from that destination. I was there in january...if the airport counts.
