- Biography:
- I am a 44 year old married mother of five. My state of origin is New York, but I live in Massachusetts. I practice Christianity and consider myself politically conservative.
I am a liberal arts and sciences/humanities student who just received her Associates degree. I graduated magna cum laude. In April 2011, I was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society Eta Beta Phi Chapter. In November 2011 I was elected as a chapter officer. I have a learning disability known as motor dysgraphia, which makes legible handwriting a struggle. It can cause muscle spasms in my wrists. The staff at college has agreed to work with me so I can succeed despite it. I signed up for my first class in Spanish for fall 2011, and went to intermediate level. Languages seem to come easily to me. I studied Quebecois French for five years between 6th and 10th grades. I would also like to learn sign language to communicate with the deaf.
Update: Married my sweetheart in 2013.
Received associate's degree in liberal arts a few weeks later.
I received bachelor's degree in psychology from state university in May 2016.

I believe in Jesus Christ, patriotism, traditional families, and the sanctity of human life. My older son, 11, has autism. Mothering him has taught me a lot about faith, trusting God, courage, and advocacy. Autism is my pet cause. My son and I faced much ignorance and judgment from the community, yet we had those who steadfastly stood by us. I prefer socializing 1 on 1 or in small groups than in crowds. Long hours of socialization tire me out and then I need to be alone. I genuinely like people and feel that my life's calling is to work for the betterment of society. I just haven't found my niche yet, but I haven't lost hope that my destiny will become clear. I am here hoping to meet new friends.
I enjoy all kinds of music: classical, jazz, Celtic, country western, rock, and Christian contemporary. I am a soprano in my church choir and love to express myself through singing. Sometimes I'll do karaoke, but never in a bar. I love cooking, especially tasty desserts. Literature and poetry are also great interests. I love Jane Austen! Life would be empty without good books. I am fascinated by both American and British history. I find the period architecture and interior design of the Victorian Era most charming. I love flowers and would keep a garden if I could. One of my favorite activities is to take a long walk when I need to clear my mind. I like noticing the styles of the houses, birds chirping, the cool breeze, and the various trees and flowers. It's fun trying to identify them all! I like to watch movies like Gone with the Wind, Shenandoah, Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Taming of the Shrew, Titanic, Steel Magnolias, Why Did I Get Married, The Marriage Counselor, Daddy's Little Girls, I can Do Bad All By Myself, Enough, Monster in Law, Ever After, Princess Bride, Princess Diaries, Daddy Day Care, Chronicles of Narnia series, Star Trek series, The Nativity Story, and so much more. My favorite tv shows are Steve Wilkos, Star Trek, Law & Order SVU, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Dr. Phil, Murder She Wrote, Doc, Touched by an Angel, Little House on the Prairie, and Fox News. I also enjoy knitting and crafting bead bracelets.Interact
