Ah yes, that old adage. The more you distance yourself from someone, the more desirable you become, and that's when they realize: hey! I better pull my act together or I'm going to lose this person. Nuh-uh. That kind of shallow push-and-pull is definitely not a substantial foundation to build a relationship on.
