She does look not too bad for her age, she is only 45 years old. . I know many people who don't count the mental connection the Internet is still capable of providing. Many people just don't think much in general and don't require soulful conversations or just have no desire/capacity to talk about many things. Oddballs like us at least can find something like this on-line. While it is possible to meet people in real life if circumstances are right to develop a strong understanding and connection it still doesn't happen very often. I don't have many friends that I could communicate with to the full extent so I am happy to meet more capable people anywhere, even on Internet forums. Because after all there are real personalities, real flesh is somewhere there behind the keyboards and letters on the screen.
I felt the same way when I came here.. Especially during my second coming back. I graduated University, my long term g/f left me, my best friend quit being my best friend as he fell in love with my mother than started hating her and it made things even worse. I was back in a little town where my mom lives with no friends and felt like "shit, what am I suppose to do?" But somehow things got better or I just found more motivators in life. And I have to thank this forum as I met some very wonderful people I could relate to, learn from much more than most people I met in the real life.
Or martial arts, archery, fencing, target shooting, mountain biking, etc. I have no interest in team sports, never have. Think of something that you're attracted to that will involve a lot of instinctive real time physical engagement with the world around you. The more passionate about the activity, the more you'll actually do it.
