+1 I like forums. :) You get to sit around and think before you answer, and you can pick and choose which conversations to engage in! My least favorite is texting because it's so easy to misunderstand each other, not to mention how commonplace bad grammar becomes. Texting just isn't quality...

Far more stressful - while I avoid conflicts, my father is always the one who settles them. Also, my dad is both wise and knowledgeable (he's a theologian), so he's always the one who explains concepts to me that I don't understand.

Oh, I'm not really worried about it - just curious. I think there's a spiritual connection among close friends too, though. The question is, why do some relationships head in a sexual direction and others not? How do one's pheromones decide?
