According to 16personalities.com, INFJs are well suited to careers in psychology and healthcare, such as Life Coaching and Counseling. Do you INFJs agree? Disagree? What do you do for a living and how does it fit with your personality?
For me it's easy to read/feel peoples' emotions, and animals are even easier, which is why animals are soothing for me to be around. They are so simple and straightforward compared to people.
I think I would actually prefer a relationship with another INFJ. At the very least I think I would need him to be an NF. He would have to be able to understand me and relate on an NF level for any long term relationship to work.
I know I need to talk to someone eventually, but that's tough while I still live at home and would have to deal with more stress with my parents if they found out I talked to someone. But you're right, I know I need help from someone.
That makes sense. I've just started realizing how messed up I really am, and that I probably have some form of PTSD, so I haven't done much to help myself. Researching the disorder and emotional abuse has helped some. I have regained some sanity just by understanding my symptoms a little better...
