Children's Day (China?). Not something celebrated in US but would be cool to celebrate here.

Inspired by this thread I started reading up on public holidays.

Turkmenistan seems great, they have 24 public holidays, including:

Last Sunday in May – Carpet Day
June 27 - Day of Turkmen Workers of Culture and Art
Second Sunday in August - Turkmen Melon Day

"The day's celebrations feature a large display of the fruit in all its varieties, as well as a series of dance and music events, in the country's capital Ashgabat."
(We need an INFJ Potato Day :campfire:)

Second Saturday in September – Day of the Workers in the Oil, Gas, Power, and Geological Industry
Second Sunday in September – Turkmen Bakhshi Day (celebrating the Turkmen folk singers)
First Sunday in December – Good Neighborliness Day

In Palau the 5th of May is Senior Citizens' Day

In the Virgin Islands October 25th is Hurricane Thanksgiving Day, expressing gratitude for being spared from hurricanes.

Hindu holidays also seem interesting, celebrated in many countries. We need more holidays with people dancing and laughing and spraying water on each other. In particular Diwali seems interesting. It's in late October or early November and lasts for five days, each day different things celebrated such as mothers, friendship, marriage, or the sibling relationship. Lots of lights, candles and lanterns, feasts, fireworks, giving gifts etc.

Summer Solstice.
Seriously! the longest day of the year. In June. Summery weather, summery attitudes, everything is beautiful and fun! I love that day!
