Do MBTI and the True Colors test relate?

For example, I think green would mainly be INTJ.

I'm afraid I don't know which test you're referring to. Could you perhaps give us a link?

There are some relations, but, its not 1:1. There are some aspects of various temperaments that go with one color, and others that go with another, so on and so forth. To someone like me who deals mainly with MBTI, true colors is VERY difficult, because I want to draw those connections, but there's always something in the way.

From what I can see, this "true colors" test is just a rip off of the Keirsey Temperment Sorter. This was not originally based on MBTI and may not always match exactly, but is closely correlated with it.

Blue = Idealist = xNFx
Green = Rational = xNTx
Gold = Guardian = xSxJ
Orange = Artisan = xSxP

Note that when one considers Jungian Cognitive Processes, Artisans are merely those with strong Se and Guardians those with strong Si. An Idealist or Rational type however may not have a single process in common with other types of the same temperament. Many people are also good enough with their tertiary function to skew the results.
