The size of this guy blows me away. He is pretty though.

Shit just got real up in here.

I present to yo the beautiful and mysterious Bagheera kiplingi. It is the only spider in the world known to survive off a primarily vegetarian diet. It lives in a symbiotic relationship with ants and a single species of plant. The ants work hard to farm and harvest a protein rich secretion from the plant and the spider steals the harvest when the ants aren't looking. This spider sometimes eats the ant larva but only as a treat, like spider candy.

P. audax is one of my favorites. :m015:

I had one that laid eggs before and I left them to hatch. There were dozens of pinhead sized spiderlings that were so cute! They hung around my back door for a few days and just wandered/floated away naturally as they went.

ENFJ spiders. They build large communal homes and they hunt in packs.

We occasionally get an Agelenopsis inside the house. They tend to freak people out because of their size but they are harmless to humans. (more harmless than a tarantula of any kind)

Yeah, jumping spiders are lovely, intelligent and gentle. They can make good pets if you can take care of something so tiny. They're aware of you and some will even interact with you.

I've noticed that! I've actually fallen in love with them over the last 6 months. Do you have any spiders as pets?
