Whatta woman. She’s such an incredible role model for us women all, and I definitely feel a debt of gratitude to her for all that she’s done to help establish women’s rights. I’m profoundly sad that she passed, especially at such a low point in this country’s history.

Anyway, I just wanted to start a thread to commemorate her and her work.

Just dropping in to say, I appreciate this thread and RBG was an inspiration. It was sorrowful for me to hear the news as well. Will be large shoes to fill

She really is. I’d like to think she lived her life without regrets because she lived it with purpose and meaning. She advanced equality and justice for all, and that is a good thing. I saw a tweet saying that in the Jewish tradition, those who die on the first day of Rosh Hashanah is a person of great righteousness. I think logic would say this is superstition, but it must bring such pride and comfort to her family at this time of loss. She is a loss to us - not all, but many. In so many ways and in such critical times.
