Lol. The island would be preferable.
Mostly I don't like presents as they fall short of what I can imagine. Everyone knows to not ever try to surprise me either. I on the other hand find the BEST presents ever because I tune into what the universe has for that person. I care not about cost.
Still my children seem to have this knack and now they realise I am a human being and not a mass of cells to blame everything on, they are pretty good present buyers. Everyone else just asks me and I tell them I don't need anything. Usually this is because I've bought it myself.
I think it all goes back to a terrible birthday cake I had as a child. Never got over it. I can't abide disappointment.
