A new social network has been launched, vowing more transparency, security, and privacy than Facebook and other social media giants. Backed by the hacktivist group Anonymous, it will encrypt all messages, shielding data from governments and advertisers.
At first glance, Minds.com appears similar to any other social network. It provides a person's followers with the latest updates, allowing their friends to comment and promote posts.

But the major difference exists behind the scenes. Minds.com doesn't aim to profit from gathering data. In fact, its goal is the opposite – to encrypt all messages so they can't be read by governments or advertisers.
The social network will also reward users for interacting with posts. This can be done by voting, commenting or uploading.
The rewards will come in the form of points, which can be exchanged for “views” of your posts. Simply put, the more active you are, the more your posts will be promoted by the social network.
“For every mobile vote, comment, remind, swipe & upload you earn points which can be exchanged for views on posts of your choice. It's a new web paradigm that gives everyone a voice,” the Minds.com website reads.

Content will be boosted using a transparent algorithm, as opposed to Facebook's method, which largely remains a mystery.
In addition, Minds.com is entirely open source, allowing anyone to contribute to the social network's design and upkeep.
"Our stance is the users deserve the control of social media in every sense," Minds.com founder Bill Ottman told Business Insider.
The open-source code keeps Minds.com accountable, as any programmer can check the code to make sure no one can access data – and that makes the social network stand out, according to Ottman.

"A lot of companies will claim privacy and say they're encrypted," Ottman said, as quoted by CNET. "But it's not real encryption because we have no way of inspecting the code to see if there are backdoors."
The business model has attracted the attention of hacktivist group Anonymous, which is calling on programmers and designers to help develop the social network.
"Anonymous is initiating a call to hackers, designers, creators and programmers to unite worldwide. Let us collaborate on the code of Minds.com and build a top site that is truly of the people, by the people and for the people,” Anonymous ART of Revolution posted on its Facebook page.
The site, which was launched with desktop and mobile apps on Monday, was gaining traction even before the official unveiling.
Before the formal launch, the site had gained 60 million visits, Ottman said. Many of those users were people “interested in alternative media,” with interests like online freedom and citizen journalism.

Swarm: Backlash of Awakening Humanity

by Zen Gardner - Jun 16, 201536 141

by Zen Gardner
The self appointed elites are on the run. We are clearly freaking them out. The astounding rate of our awakening is not anything they were expecting nor counting on. That’s not surprising, considering their arrogance, but search any subject you wish to pursue and you’ll find that despite their algorithms, distorting mechanisms and surveillance they cannot stop the onslaught of truth coming from humanity itself.
This is a reality to be encouraged about. We are a tide of Truth coming at them so fast they honestly do not know how to handle it. We’re dismissed, minimalized, marginalized and disparaged in a host of ways, but they cannot cope with our resilience. Hence their stepped up agenda towards our physical and spiritual weakening. It’s that clear.
The war we are in is real. It matters what you do and think. We are the embodiment of our own solution and need to come to that realization fast and furious. We are literally putting them on their heels and they simply need to keep pushing their agenda in more and more draconian ways as if everything depends upon it – because it does! That’s what you’re seeing in the so-called “news”.
A Time To Shed

It’s really about letting go when it comes to moving into this next phase. Let go of entanglements, let go of any parasitic connections they have on you. Be it banking, mortgages, soul-sucking relationships, false media addictions, bad food proclivities or the like, it’s time to take a stand.
Operate according to your true convictions.
I know it’s easy to say, but the cut off point will come one way or the other. Either they’ll do it when you’re on the defensive and powerless in dire circumstances, or you do it before they can take advantage of you. That’s the situation we’re in, like it or not. The dependence on their system is what needs to be shed, any and every way we can do it.
From there we take the offensive. They are bluffing. So let’s march.

[h=3]Dismantle the Bastards[/h]This may seem beyond reach to most but this is exactly what needs to be done. Initiative is the key – take the battle to them. This can be done extremely simply, and very locally. Challenge so-called authority. Ask them why they pass laws allowing for the toxification of your water, your food, your air. Why are your babies being injected with known toxins, why is the educational system crushing their spirit and reducing their intelligence?…and on it goes.
These are questions to be posed with intended consequences – for them. With authority. Because what they do affects you! Your loved ones, your neighbors, your community, and your world.
If we humanity cannot rise to this challenge we are not worth our salt. We will deserve what comes upon us by these dark controlling social engineers as they have been designing for so many decades. Is that what you want? Are you going to lay down and just take it?
[h=3]That’s the Question[/h]What will you do – or not do? How much do you care? Are you so asleep you can’t see your very life and that of those you love is at stake?
What will it take?
I don’t know what else I can say at this point. I have immense trust and faith in humanity and its consciously empowered state, but when it lets itself get overwhelmed and reduced to a whimper I can only observe with sadness and wonder.
I know all will be well in the long run in a deep esoteric sense, but I yearn for my brothers and sisters who could simply awaken and take their very lives back, and those of their loved ones.
I pray you hear me.
The hour is late. It’s time to shake off the shackles and activate with all that’s within each of us. Just imagine if we all swarm these bastards, one seemingly small action at a time, and move toward the head of the spider. Now that should cause quite the uproar! And what an encouragement to others to go for it!
That’s all I can say. It’s up to you, and to me. Let’s do it.
Love always, Zen

[h=2]Sunday, June 14, 2015[/h] [h=3]The Political Agenda Behind Alien Disclosure [/h]
By Aaron & Melissa Dykes

Whatever the real truth is actually out there, rest assured the Powers That Shouldn't Be will do whatever it takes to make sure we are never allowed to learn it.

Instead we'll get drip-fed a bunch of government lies, illusions, distortions, and half-truths as preprogramming for a sinister agenda. The real truth certainly isn't going to come in the form of the Clintons ("I want the public to see my emails!") and Bill's bad jokes about "investigating" Area 51, Roswell, and other government black sites. While the probability of life on other planets is surely compelling, we're not going to find the truth through gatekeepers in establishment positions of power, be that in government, Hollywood, or via elitist billionaires who have documented ulterior motives.

A secret government has set up shop, is deeply rooted, and there's no getting to the truth without going through them first. Until we deal with the reality of the breakaway civilization that's been keeping mankind at large in the dark (sometimes literally) for centuries, we can hardly process the significance of contact from beyond.

Extraterrestrial life is being held and will be dealt as a card that requires ascension to world government and submission to a higher earthly authority. So compelling indeed is the opportunity to use aliens as a pretext for total control, that leader after leader have hinted at its unifying power over humanity. In the background, the possibly of a Project Blue Beam scenario has been prepared should the time come for the last card to be dealt to a humanity unwilling to march dutifully along under the banner of a one world government New World Order.

Quantum Phase: Time, Parallel Realities and the Brain

Brendan D. Murphy, Guest
Waking Times The ‘Many Worlds’ Theory

The eminent physicist and co-founder of string theory, Michio Kaku, has actually said:
f you have a radio in your living room… and you have all frequencies in your living room; BBC, Radio Moscow, ABC, but your radio is tuned to one frequency — you’re decohered from all the other frequencies. You’re only coherent [wave phase and amplitude in alignment; either exactly or in whole number ratios] with one frequency. We now believe that the universe is vibrating and that there are vibrations of other universes right in this room. There are the universes of dinosaurs because the comet didn’t hit 65 million years ago; the wave function of aliens from outer space looking at the rubble of an earth that already was destroyed — all in your living room, except we have decohered from them. We’re no longer in tune with them, we don’t vibrate with them…[P]robably there are other parallel universes in your living room and believe it or not this is called modern physics…get used to it. This is the modern interpretation of the quantum theory, that many worlds represents reality.”
Not long ago, almost anyone who uttered such a sentiment would have been dismissed by many as “New Age-y,” “flaky,” and so on, but it is no longer feasible to use such convenient rationalizations with physicists of Kaku’s credibility speaking as a clairvoyant or mystic might. In fact, identical sentiments have been put forth by theosophists a century and more ago in describing the astral plane, which interpenetrates the physical plane without either realm’s inhabitants being aware of the other, “whose senses are normally capable of responding to the undulations of their world only.”[ii]
In 1953, Aldous Huxley, having experimented with ingesting hallucinogens such as mescaline, psilocybin, and LSD, suggested that the function of the brain, nervous system, and sense organs is primarily eliminative rather than productive, operating as a “reducing valve” that protects us from being overwhelmed and confused by a mass of useless and irrelevant knowledge, leaving only the tiny selection likely to be practically useful.[iii] The eminent psychiatrist Stanislav Grof, who has researched the effects of LSD on consciousness extensively, has expressed agreement with this “reducing valve” way of looking at the brain.[iv] By the time of publication of his book The Holotropic Mind in 1993, Grof had completed some 24,000 altered state sessions with clients and patients—no small body of evidence to substantiate his view. In 1983, Swiss scientist Albert Hoffman, who first synthesized LSD (and experimented with it on himself), expressed the view that LSD, by altering the brain’s chemistry, tunes it to other wavelengths from its usual one, thus allowing other realities to enter into one’s awareness.[v]
Intuitives have long used the terms vibration and frequency to describe what they see and feel, but only now is it becoming quite apparent how prescient their vernacular actually was even before the advent of quantum physics. This is the dialect of modern physics, not the old physics that described a “dead,” meaningless world of inert, “solid” matter with only empty space in between, and that featured merely epiphenomenal consciousness. Cybernetician David Foster wrote in a letter to Colin Wilson that the universe is a structure of waves and vibrations, the inner content of which is “meaning,” with man being a micro-system of the same essential vibratory nature within the meaningful universal wave system. He went on to add that the mind is a radio set that can “tune in” to thousands of different vibrations in the aether.[vi]

Such “tuning in” yields what we myopically call ESP. Think of it this way: two people with the same quantum phase have a phase difference of zero, and are therefore completely real to each other. To be able to shake hands or interact solidly, we must have the same quantum phase, the same “time-dependent phase factor,” meaning we share the same moment in time. If our quantum phases are altered with respect to each other, our interaction will be less tangible.[vii] One of us may perceive the other as being “ghostly”; the interaction may appear to be “paranormal” — get the idea?
In Bearden’s model, the “only difference between any two entities in the various worlds is a matter of orthogonal rotation,” rotation at right angles to the original reference frame/reality. One orthorotation away, the first “hyperspace” in this schema, is the electromagnetic field. Another 90 degree rotation away is the hyperspace occupied by the de Broglie waves. Following this, one more rotation away is a purely mental/virtual world in which 3D objects would be points to us here if seen from our reference frame. According to Bearden, any hyperspace beyond this is only ever three rotational turns away from our frame. Physical phenomena in these frames are mental phenomena with respect to ours — but they are still very real.[viii] This would effectively make the contents of all parallel worlds aspects of our collective unconscious, part of our own psyche.
Intriguingly, Rick Strassman, psychiatrist and researcher into dimethyltryptamine (DMT), following his research into the effects of DMT on human consciousness and the anomalous experiences it produced in test subjects, speculated that parallel universes might be familiar to us, even if the organisms and technologies therein developed along drastically different lines. He believes that reptilian and insect-like beings, and unrecognizable shapes imbued with intelligence should not be unexpected, and nor should highly advanced forms of technology — all of which were reported by his DMT test subjects.[ix]
Holding all of the above firmly in mind, we note those bizarre instances — of which there are documented cases — wherein people have inexplicably found themselves witnessing or even participating in a scene from a “parallel” reality, sometimes what they perceive as the “past.”
For instance, on August 10, 1901, two Oxford professors, Anne Moberly, the principal of St. Hugh’s College, and Eleanor Jourdain, the vice-principal, were wandering, lost, through the garden of the Petit Trianon at Versailles when they were both overcome with sudden feelings of gloom, depression, and unease, though they said nothing of it to one another at the time. Suddenly the scenery seemed somehow abnormal, lifeless, and unreal. Two men in “long greyish-green coats with small three-cornered hats” suddenly appeared and directed the women to the Petit Trianon. They strolled past an isolated cottage where a woman and a 12- or 13-year-old girl were standing at the doorway, both wearing white kerchiefs fastened under their bodices. Jourdain would later write that “both seemed to pause for an instant, as in a motion picture.”
The two continued on their way and soon reached a pavilion that stood in the middle of an enclosure. A sinister-looking man was sitting outside the pavilion, his face repulsively disfigured by smallpox, wearing a black cloak around his shoulders and a slouch hat — bizarre dress for the period and the weather. He turned to look in their direction though seemed almost to stare through them, not responding to their presence. Still, it was enough to make them feel extremely uncomfortable and the two professors walked on in silent unease until they reached a small terraced country house. A lady was sitting in full view on the lawn with her back to the house, though bizarrely, only one of the pair saw her despite both being keenly on the lookout for someone to ask for directions. The woman, oddly dressed for the period in a summer dress with a long bodice and a very full but short skirt, held a large sheet of paper or cardboard in her hand and seemed to be working at a drawing. She had a pale green fichu or kerchief draped around her shoulders, and a large white hat covered her fair hair. As Moberly and Jourdain continued on, a young man, again oddly dressed, ran up to them and urgently offered them directions towards the Petit Trianon which they eventually located and entered, finding themselves in the midst of a wedding party wherein the participants were dressed in the garb of 1901, their time.

On subsequent trips to the Petit Trianon gardens the women found to their bafflement that a path they had walked down on their initial visit was now blocked by an old stone wall and had been for some time, evidently. Others no longer existed at all. Overall, the layout and dimensions of the grounds and buildings was completely and yet unaccountably different. The kiosk where the disfigured man sat, for instance, was no longer there.
Home in England searching through historical records, the women concluded that they had perhaps been transported into Queen Marie Antoinette’s actual memory of the day (August 10, 1972) in which the sacking of the Tuileries and the massacre of the Swiss Guards had taken place — which accounted for the agitated manner of the people in the garden and general sense of oppressive gloom — and that the woman seated in the garden was none other than the Queen herself. Moberly later came across a picture of Antoinette drawn by the artist Wertmüller and was able to identify her as the same sketching woman she had seen near the Petit Trianon — even the clothes were the same. The pockmarked and “evil”-looking man by the pavilion, the records suggested, may have been the Queen’s betrayer, Comte de Vaudreuil. [x] Moberly and Jourdain’s descriptions of the layout of the gardens and the outbuildings were unknown by Versailles historians at the time but were later verified by painstaking search and scrutiny of obscure records of Louis XVI’s court, including wages he paid to gardeners and carpenters for specific projects.[xi]
String theorists and cyberneticians rejoice. Probably the most compelling element of this particular report is that people from the scene/period approached the two women and addressed them specifically, demonstrating that they were not merely invisible bystanders, but very much real and perceptible. Thus, the women had essentially been transported back in time; they weren’t just witnessing a scene as outside observers, they were there in the “past.” In a 1957 paper on how the focus of our awareness creates our reality, Hugh Everett described “simple moments in time when it becomes possible to jump from one reality to another by creating a quantum bridge between two already existing possibilities.” One wonders if he had intended to include such possibilities as this time-warping one. Everett called these windows of opportunity “choice points.”[xii] He was, evidently, very much aware of the pluralistic nature of “reality.”
Events such as Moberly and Jourdain’s are familiar even to government-employed remote viewers. As we have seen and will see further, in quantum physics the past, present, and future are not clearly distinguishable from one another and research is ongoing into the effects the future has on the present (you read that correctly). In short, past, present, and future — all of them — exist now. In the words of physicist and string theory exponent Brian Greene, “If you were having a great time at the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve, 1999, you still are.” (We will return to this comment again soon.)

From the many-worlds perspective, there is nothing particularly unusual about this event. The occultist might suggest that the women had essentially stepped into an Akashic record of the past. So, were these two women of the 20th century actually there in the 1700s? Taking the view of the many-worlds interpretation, in at least one version, they were (and still are), and perhaps somewhere in that “parallel reality” there exists a record in some long since departed soul’s tattered old diary of the two “oddly dressed” women who seemed out of place in the garden of the Petit Trianon that day as everyone bustled about hastily and on edge. There is no “separate time period,” simply a larger hyperdimensional reality that enfolds all time. If we could step into a hyperframe and see all instants through history frozen in time, we could choose a different one to step into and experience.
Novikov applied the “principle of least action” to time travel, and, in what Strieber refers to as a “brilliant feat of mathematics” showed that the only movements through time satisfying this principle must be those in which the grandfather paradox cannot apply: “time travel will never cause a situation in which one of these paradoxes could take place.”[xiii] If we were to access a particle stream moving faster than light, we could theoretically time-travel. As Einstein’s relativity showed, the faster something moves, the slower its subjective time passes, and if it were to break the light speed threshold, it would then be traveling backwards in time (time would “reverse”). Author Whitley Strieber asked in 1997 if the mind could somehow enable time travel.[xiv] Strieber has had his own Versailles-like experiences, so he already knew the answer. It is “yes.” Government-backed research has validated this notion, as we will see.
Nobel laureate Frank Wilczek says, “We are haunted by the awareness that infinitely many slightly variant copies of ourselves are living out their parallel lives and that every moment more duplicates spring into existence and take up our many alternative futures.”[xv] Max Tegmark of MIT has expressed a virtually identical view.[xvi]
Kaku mentioned in his description of reality something called decoherence, a theory stating that though all these infinite parallel universes are possibilities, our universe’s wave function has decohered from them: it no longer vibrates in unison/in phase with them. It therefore no longer interacts with them. The result is that though we might coexist simultaneously with the wave function of inhabitants of other universes, we are no longer “in tune” with them.[xvii] Nobel laureate Steve Weinberg has also used the radio station in the living room analogy to describe our situation.[xviii] This is a very apt analogy for the reality we find ourselves in. The decoherence interpretation of quantum mechanics leads to multiple universes/many worlds and avoids the postulation of a wave function collapse. For the time being we note that these parallel worlds postulated by the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, or “decohered universes” actually do, in rare circumstances, spill over into this world, so to speak.

[h=1]MegaNet: Kim Dotcom’s plan for uncensored, people-powered internet[/h]
Kim Dotcom‘s dream of a people-powered, censorship-resistant Internet will rely on the goodwill of supporters to get off the ground. In an announcement this morning, the entrepreneur confirmed that his MegaNet project will seek equity via a crowd-funding campaign set to launch on the January 2016 anniversary of the raid on Megaupload.
For many years Kim Dotcom was associated with a crazy lifestyle but these days he prefers to be seen more as a family man.
Regularly posting pictures of his children on Twitter and playing down his wild past, Dotcom seems unlikely to entertain a recent request from Pirate Bay founder Peter Sunde to join him on the Gumball Rally.
But while yachts and fast cars might be a thing of the past, Dotcom has certainly not lost the fire in his belly when it comes to his current predicament. As he fights off a ravenous U.S. government determined to bring him to justice by any means possible, spying included, the Megaupload founder has positioned himself as a champion of Internet privacy.
Kim-Dotcom-MegaNet.jpg

On January 19, 2013, Dotcom marked the anniversary of the raid on his empire by launching the privacy-focused cloud-storage service Mega.co.nz. Next year on the same date, the tenacious German says he will deliver again.
Thus far, details are thin on the ground, but what we do know is that Dotcom is planning a new anti-censorship network he calls MegaNet.
“How would you like a new Internet that can’t be controlled, censored or destroyed by Governments or Corporations?” Dotcom teased in February.
MegaNet’s precise mechanism is yet to be revealed, but Dotcom has already stated that the network will be non-IP address based and that blockchain technology will play an important role.
What we also know is that users’ mobile phones will play a crucial role, although at launch other devices will participate in the network.
“All your mobile phones become an encrypted network,” Dotcom notes. “You’d be surprised how much idle storage & bandwidth capacity mobile phones have. MegaNet will turn that idle capacity into a new network.”
At this stage it appears that Dotcom envisions a totally decentralized system, an essential quality if he is to deliver on his claims of absolute privacy.
With the earlier promise that participants in MegaNet “become the MegaNet”, Dotcom’s announcement this morning that the project will seek monetary contributions from the masses seems entirely fitting.
“MegaNet details will be revealed and equity will be available via crowd funding on 20 Jan 2016, the fourth anniversary of the raid [on Dotcom and Megupload],” Dotcom confirmed.
And for now, that is all. Dotcom has become somewhat of an expert at dripping small details to the masses as and when he sees fit while allowing the media to fill in the blanks. It’s a somewhat effective strategy which provides millions in free advertising for close to zero marketing outlay.
The big question now is how much equity MegaNet will need to get off the ground and how many of Dotcom’s supporters will believe that privacy is a commodity worth supporting with their wallets. People were happy to support Peter Sunde’s Heml.is on the same premise, but as recently revealed the amount of cash required to compete can be considerable.
However, Dotcom probably won’t attempt this entirely on his own. Given his history there’s a significant chance that the entrepreneur will pull in heavyweights such as Julian Assange and Glenn Greenwald to support the campaign. That will definitely help to boost the coffers.
Update: Kim Dotcom has sent TorrentFreak additional details on how MegaNet will operate.
“MegaNet has a unique file crystallization and recreation protocol utilizing the blockchain. You can load entire websites with this new technology and it makes them immune to almost all hacker attacks and ddos,” Dotcom informs TF.
“In the beginning MegaNet will still utilize the current Internet as a dumb pipe but in 10 years it will run exclusively on smartphones with hopefully over 500 million users carrying the network.
“A network by the people for the people. Not controlled by any government or corporations. MegaNet will be a powerful tool to guard our privacy and freedoms and it will also be my legacy,” Dotcom concludes.
On the finance front, MegaNet will partner with Bnktothefuture.com and Max Keiser to raise capital.

[h=2]Why even build Synereo?[/h] Because social media should be decentralized.
As long as our social media networks continue to be moderated by central authorities like Facebook and Google, users cannot be guaranteed the privacy of their identity and personal information. Perhaps worse, their experience of the social web is always geared towards one thing: Monetization.
Because of that, the success or failure of mainstream social networks is measured by one thing: revenue.
Per user. Per month. Per platform.
Per whatever.
This changes with Synereo, the world’s first fully-decentralized social network.
We’re building a network owned by you and controlled by no one. Users connect directly to one another, via secure cryptographic channels that prevent governments, spooks, and marketing agencies from eavesdropping without your consent. And should you choose to allow sponsored content in your stream, the distributor of the content pays you directly for taking up your attention - using AMPs, Synereo’s information flow currency.
Most importantly, Synereo reports to no one. There are no revenue success metrics to optimize towards and no financial reports to generate for shareholders. Synereo is being built to provide the absolute best social experience online, treating people as its clients rather than as products. Synereo aims to help you connect with people and things you care about in a meaningful way.
Synereo is the change we want to see in the world. We are finally at a point where we as a society have the technology and resources to build a network that doesn’t depend on any central entity dictating to it.
We’re happy to have you with us!

wow...so that's some pretty messed up stuff coming from the UK government there and also from snowden on what the UK intelligence services are upto

UK spies going on public forums and messing with the heads of forumites...but there it is in the articles above in black and white; many of us knew it was happening and have even suspected some people we have debated with of being government shills...who knows...there are also some genuine idiots out there

However these are worrying developments and i just can't seem to get them out of my mind

The british prime minister david cameron is trying to squash the EU human rights act in the UK. This would mean that any british citizen persecuted by the british government could then not appeal to the European court of human rights; which means the british government could do whatever they liked to their own citizens

Cameron has also made a speech to the UN saying that anyone questioning 911 or the 7/7 bombing or ISIS is an 'extremist'; of course some people would say that he is only speaking to muslims living in the UK but he clearly is not....he is clearly speaking to anyone in the UK who is questioning the government

He says the government is to tackle all forms of what he calls 'non-violent extremism' which is basically anyone who criticises the government

[video=youtube;BP_HJfd_gvE]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BP_HJfd_gvE[/video]

Cameron is also seeking to increase the legal powers of UK spies to spy on their own public. This is being called the 'snoopers charter'

It basically allows them to hack into peoples computers, to store their texts, emails, phone calls and so on and to see their browsing history

The clip i posted of the ritchie allan show earlier in the 'are we as a society being kept from discussing the big issues' thread (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJDkV5cY23s) mentioned that they could use these powers to plant incriminating evidence onto peoples computers. Also it says that peoples data is not secure so it can be tampered with. I take that to mean that they could tamper with your browsing history to make it look like you had looked at stuff you hadn't eg radical extremist sites or illegal porn etc

As the leaked info from snowden posted above says they have also set honeytraps for people and laid traps of links to 'uncensored sites' which presumably means the intended target clicks on a link and that then takes them to some dodgy site

if the authorities then have your browsing bistory then they can claim you have browsed the planted site

if they looked at mine all they'd find is the same old alternative media sites and the INFJ forum!

But the point is you don't have to have done anything wrong...they can make it look like you have

Some might say i'm being paranoid but Cameron has also recently said the following:

“For too long, we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens: as long as you obey the law, we will leave you alone. It’s often meant we have stood neutral between different values. And that’s helped foster a narrative of extremism and grievance. This government will conclusively turn the page on this failed approach. As the party of one nation, we will govern as one nation and bring our country together. That means actively promoting certain values. Freedom of speech. Freedom of worship. Democracy. The rule of law. Equal rights regardless of race, gender or sexuality. We must say to our citizens: this is what defines us as a society.”

This is some pretty alarming rhetoric to be coming out of a government and it basically means that freedom of speech is dead in the UK. This is a watershed moment in the slide into fascism that i have been documenting here on the forum for a number of years now. Pretty incredible that in the same speech cameron can claim to be upholding freedom of speech whilst at the same time threatening anyone who exercises that right!

It has led to scottish comedian Frankie Boyle saying the following:

“Immediately after his re-election [Cameron] announced: “For too long we have been a passively tolerant society, saying to our citizens so long as you obey the law we will leave you alone.” A statement so far to the right that it conceded the political centre ground to Judge Dredd.”

Joking aside...camerons words represent a very clear threat to people who have been publically questioning the offical narrative on events. The message is clear: ''shut up or we will persecute you and we don't care if you are not breaking any laws we will persecute you anyway''

This makes me angry for a number of reasons. First of all because i didn't vote for camoron and his eton pals and neither did most brits or hardly anyone from my patch north of the border

Secondly it is my right as a member of a democracy to be able to criticise the government

Thirdly i grew up knowing the generation of men who fought in the second world war and was aware of my family's contribution in both the great wars and for the loses it suffered and medals it won. I look at my country now as it slides into fascism and i wonder what the sacrifice of all those young lads whose names are on the memorials in every village, town and city up and down my country was for as well as the suffering of the lads who came home and their families that then had to rehabilitate them

What was it all for if their grandsons and granddaughters can't even question their government when they know them to be lying sons of bitches who are selling their people out to the banksters in the city of london, without fear of being persecuted?

However these guys don't care about that...they don't care that it wasn't the royals or the bankers or the wretched politicians who won those wars but the people themselves....it was the lads off the streets and fields of britain and their women-folk who supported them who won it; they didn't start the war but they paid for it and saw it through to its end

So it's with a fair bit of regret that I am going to take a holiday from speaking about 'conspiracy theories' or of criticising the government until such time as i feel it is safe to do so again, which if cameron and his paymasters get their way will be never

I hate to allow their words to have a chilling effect on dissent but there are a few things going on at the moment so who knows what will materialise in the coming years. Obviously cameron and the banking cabal he works for hope it will be their new world order that comes to the fore but there are a growing number of people who are aware of these issues now and a quarter of a million people just marched against austerity in London so people are indeed waking up and no matter how many people the government and their intelligence services stitch up or silence through other means there will be more and more discussions about these matters online and offline

So a few possible developments include a greek exit from the eurozone leading to problems for the german central bank and the other european banks which leads to a global economic crisis that makes 2008 look like a picnic....who knows where that scenario will end?

Then there is the referendum on whether the UK should stay in the EU that is to be held next year. If the UK leaves the EU the SNP party in Scotland will call for another referendum on whether or not Scotland should remain in the UK!!!

Scotland could of course call another referendum at anytime on the grounds of camerons broken promises for new powers to scotland or his double dealings over renewable energy

So things are pretty fluid at the moment and we'll just have to wait and see where the chips fall but you can be sure that cameron and his paymasters in the city of london will be putting their PR machine into action to try and fearmonger the Uk public into staying in the EU

I also feel that his rhetoric about 'extremism' is not empty words and that they do mean business.

The crazy thing is that the only section of scottish society that doesn't want independence is the one now retiring

Also it is the older generation who have voted the tories in as the UK government so if cameron and his buddies think they will be able to keep getting away with this shit they are sorely mistaken because in a generation time the demographics will have totally changed

The older generation are thatchers little brats who have grown up being told only to think of themselves and sure enough all they think about now is their own pensions. They are the generation who has allowed all the banker corruption and MP's expenses corruption and child abuse in the establishment to go on and now they are using their votes to stop the younger generation putting it all right.....but they won't be here forever and the younger generation all know that 911 was an inside job

So....we'll see how things pan out but until such time as freedom of speech is restored i will be ceasing online activity; i appreciate i am small fry but at the same time i reckon i'll be on some government watch list as undermining the governments false narratives online is now seen as a form of activism and 'extremism', no less, by the tory government

The UK government has made its clear warning and I am going to heed that (albeit in protest)

I'll drop into the forum for a couple of days after this to check PM's if anyone wants to speak to me about these issues but after that i'll be away for a while. It's a shame i enjoy keeping up to date with events and discussing them but things are going a little bit crazy here in the UK so I'm gonna take a back seat for a while and see how things develop, knuckle down, pay my taxes, keep my nose clean and try and stay clear of cameron and his insane and openly fascistic government

goodnight..and good luck

Massive rallies were held across Israel, with thousands of demonstrators gathering to speak up against “incitement and violence,” or what some called “Jewish terror,” following brutal attacks by radicals against Palestinians and homosexuals.
Around 2,000 people took to the streets of Tel Aviv to protest a string of violent acts committed this week, Israeli media reports. The rally was organized by the Peace Now settlement organization.

“We call on the government to take strong action against the violence of the settlers and to restart immediately the peace process,” Peace Now director Yariv Oppenheimer told AFP, a French news outlet.
The protesters also joined a vigil organized by Israel’s gay community to mark a shocking attack on Thursday, in which an ultra-Orthodox Jew stabbed six people taking part in a peaceful Gay Pride march in Jerusalem. One of the victims remains in critical condition.
Police later identified the suspected stabber as Yishai Schlissel, who had recently been released from prison after serving a 10 year sentence for stabbing 3 people at the 2005 parade, according to Haaretz, an Israeli news source.

In a separate incident hours after the stabbing, Jewish settlers are suspected of setting fire to a Palestinian home in the occupied West Bank, killing an 18-month-old child and critically injuring his 4-year-old brother and parents.
Violence continued into Friday, as two 17-year-old Palestinian boys were shot dead by Israeli forces in separate incidents amid clashes across the West Bank incited by the toddler’s death. One teen was killed near Ramallah and the other in north Gaza. Several Palestinians were also injured during the protests.

The dead toddler’s uncle, Nasser Dawabsheh, attended the rally in Tel Aviv.
“[Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu offers his condolences, but we ask the defense minister and the IDF to restore security in the village of Douma and in all Palestinian villages… we want this to be the end of the suffering of our people … We want the fires to end,” Dawabsheh said at the protest.

Opposition leader and Zionist Union head Isaac Herzog also spoke at the rally, stating “terror is terror, period. Terrorists are terrorists, period, whether Muslim or Jewish.” Herzog also urged Netanyahu to order the Shin Bet, the Israel Security Agency, to “tackle Jewish terrorism like [it does] Islamist terror.”
Left-wing Meretz party leader Zehava Gal-On had even harsher words for the current Israeli government.
“Jewish terror is ISIS terror, there is no other way to say it… I say to Netanyahu and to MKs from the right: We don’t want your condemnations and we don’t want your soul-searching. There is a connection between the violence in Beit El, the incursion in Sa-Nur, the arson in Douma and the stabbings at the Pride Parade,” Gal-On asserted.
According to the leftist leader, who advocates a two-state solution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Netanyahu has “made a career out of inciting against Arabs and leftists – from the balcony in Zion Square to campaign videos comparing Arabs to Hamas, to the ‘Arabs are voting in droves.’”
Meanwhile, hundreds of demonstrators came together in Jerusalem near the site of the Gay Pride march stabbings. Israeli President Reuven Rivlin gave a flamboyant speech at the rally on Zion Square.
“Flames have engulfed our country. Flames of violence, flames of hatred, flames of false, distorted and twisted beliefs. Flames which permit the shedding of blood, in the name of the Torah, in the name of the law, in the name of morality, in the name of a love for the land of Israel,” Rivlin said as quoted by Haaretz, stressing that Israel “will not become a state of anarchy.”
The rally was held under heightened security but did not go without incident. At least four youths were arrested and one police officer injured as a man attempted to breach a barricade and charge toward the crowd, while two more young Jews were detained while shouting slogans against the demonstration, according to the Israeli media.
There were also smaller anti-violent rallies organized in other Israeli cities.
In the latest development, police raided a home in Mea Shearim, one of the oldest Jewish neighborhoods in Jerusalem, looking for another suspect in the Gay Pride march stabbing incident, according to reports.

[h=2]Lavrov voices support for independent Palestinian state[/h]
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has voiced support for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
“We would like to see the Palestinians — all of them — have their permanent home,” Lavrov said during a meeting with Khaled Meshaal, the political bureau chief of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas in the Qatari capital Doha on Monday.
The Russian foreign policy chief also said that his country will work for the realization of such a goal.
The Russian Foreign Ministry also posted a statement saying that Lavrov in the meeting “has confirmed the support of efforts on restoring Palestinian national unity,” Interfax reported.
The Hamas political bureau chief, for his part, said, “We hope that with assistance from Russia and the whole world, this dream will come true.”
The two political figures also discussed a host of issues surrounding Palestine including the Israeli atrocities against Palestinians in the occupied territories.
Meshaal also accepted Lavrov's invitation to pay a visit to Russia. No date has been specified for the visit yet.
Palestinians are seeking to create an independent state on the territories of the West Bank, including East al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the Gaza Strip, and are demanding that Israel withdraw from the occupied Palestinian territories. Israel, however, has refused to return to the 1967 borders and is unwilling to discuss the issue of al-Quds.
On November 29, 2012, the United Nations General Assembly voted to upgrade Palestine’s status at the UN from “non-member observer entity” to “non-member observer state” despite strong opposition from Israel and the United States.
Sweden officially recognized the state of Palestine on October 30, 2014, drawing stringent criticism from Israel and the US.
Parliaments in many European countries, including France and Greece, have supported the formation of a sovereign Palestinian state.

Paul Mason has written a book recently called 'postcapitalism: a guide to our future' discussing the world he envisiges beyond capitalism

Here is an interview with him discussing the option of a GIFT ECONOMY

[h=3]Capitalism? It's had its day, says the rabble-rousing Channel 4 News economics editor who grew up a revolutionary socialist. So, asks John Rentoul: whatever's next?[/h]

Sunday 02 August 2015

Paul Mason wants to replace capitalism with a "gift economy". As if to explain, I am greeted at the door of his Victorian cottage in Kennington, south London, by Lottie, his 11-month-old puppy. She brings me a pink toy rabbit. I take it politely and give it back to her. "She understands the gift economy," says Mason.

I'm not so sure I do. Mason, a hero of the anti-capitalist left and author of Why It's Kicking Off Everywhere, has written a new book called Postcapitalism, which explains what he thinks will happen to the economy next and how the change will come. I've read it, and have some sceptical questions for him. But first, he welcomes me into his lovely home and offers me a cup of tea. I say hello to his wife Jane, a nurse, who is getting ready to go out. It's a domesticated setting for the reinvention of Marxism in which Mason is engaged.
I begin by asking about these neoliberals who control the world. They sound like terrible people. They believe in "uncontrolled markets", says the book, and that "inequality is good". Who are these people? Who says inequality is good? Nobody says it. "They do," replies Mason. Not in this country they don't. "Ah. Well. I could find you several quotes. They don't say it in that way, they say it is natural, it is a necessary product of society."

I remember Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan saying things like that. Which is odd, as Mason says that neoliberalism began in 1989, with the fall of the Berlin Wall. But my impression is that since Thatcher, the Conservatives have given up on that kind of thing. Mason talks about how people say different things inside the Bilderberg Group and outside of it. I've always regarded any mention of the Bilderberg, an elite US-European discussion forum, as the mark of a conspiracy theorist – but I decide that to challenge him would waste our time. "What is said on the decks of mega-yachts that will sail past Kefalonia this summer," he goes on, "is not the same as what those people will say when they are speaking through their public-affairs agency on behalf of their company."
When he mentions "the salons of the elite", I balk. How does he know what goes on in such places? "I actually have been in the salons of the elite, where they defend inequality," he says. "I've met enough of them to know that that is how they think."
Surprised by my mental picture of Mason reclining on a chaise longue in the Prime Minister's salon, I ask: "You think that's how David Cameron thinks?" His reply is unexpected: "I certainly don't think that's how David Cameron thinks. At all. Because I think that Cameron is an unusual elite politician, who actually gets it, from a paternalistic point of view." Cunning people, these neoliberals. Before you can get a grip on them, they rebadge themselves as sincere paternalists.
We are not going to agree on whether neoliberalism exists or who espouses it, but what is interesting about Mason's book is his analysis of how information technology is going to lead to the abolition of the market – and what he calls the "supersession" of capitalism by a new form of economic organisation.
He says that the internet is already allowing a "human revolution" in lifestyles – "We are preparing ourselves to be able to live this life that is now possible." I think it sounds like early Marx writings about what the communist life would be like – "Hunt in the morning, fish in the afternoon, rear cattle in the evening, criticise after dinner" – and Mason is enthusiastic: "It is exactly early Marx. Exactly that."
But isn't it also pie in the sky?
"Why is it pie in the sky?"
You can't abolish market forces; you might as well try to abolish maths.
PaulMason-ImmoKlink.jpg
Mason at home in Kennington, south London (Immo Klink)
"Market forces operate in conditions of scarcity, but these days I can copy and paste the entire back catalogue of the Beatles and it has a zero reproduction cost. Therefore the market forces will drive the cost of the entire back catalogue down to zero."
So market forces will continue to exist, I say. It is just that the cost of some forms of information will be zero. "If what I am predicting comes about and large parts of society move to a form of non-money exchange, the interesting thing will be what happens. There are two possibilities. One is that we move to a substantially gift economy. OK, you say it is 'pie in the sky' for the market to disappear. I think it has begun to disappear. The market in the ideas space is very fragmented and difficult to enforce and non-spontaneous."
He is full of his recent experience in Greece, where he sees the postcapitalist economy emerging from inside the mess of existing structures: "As you move through it, from one beleaguered souvlaki place to the next, what you are mapping is the informal economy – where the default way of running things is through barter, sharing, non-market, some market, the market injecting the liquidity."
But if that new economy doesn't emerge from the back streets of Greece or the Raval district of Barcelona, what is the other possibility?
"One of the exhilarating things about trying to write about technology is that it keeps on changing while you're writing. It literally makes me gasp that Facebook is 10 times bigger than it was when Lehman Brothers collapsed," he says. The book makes much of Wikipedia as a non-market model of the sharing economy, but, since he finished the draft 18 months ago, other supposedly "democratic" ways of using the internet have become successful, replicating the rent-seeking, tax-avoiding features of existing capitalism. "You've got what are, unfortunately for me, bad examples of it becoming really prominent – specifically Airbnb and Uber."
PaulMason-ImmoKlink.jpg
According to his book, the transition will be achieved by building an open-source computer simulation of economic reality: 'We take away Apple, Microsoft, Google's ability to monopolise information. Then we build a strong, resilient counter-power.' (Immo Klink)
It would seem that postcapitalism is as elusive as the neoliberal ideology it will replace. And the means by which it will come about is – to me – equally unclear. But it won't be by violence, he says. "The revolution I'm talking about is the creation of an economic counter-power. And that is all I'm talking about, let me be clear about that. Because in my youth I was a revolutionary, I was a hardline Marxist. But this book is definitely an intellectual journey away from that."
Indeed, its long central section goes into some detail about how the Bolshevik revolution in Russia went wrong. "Twentieth-century Marxism was built on a misunderstanding of what the working-class wants," he says.
According to his book, the transition will be achieved by building an open-source computer simulation of economic reality. "Once we have reliable predictions, we can act." But what would "we" actually do? "We take away Apple, Microsoft, Google's ability to monopolise information. Then we build a strong, resilient counter-power."

Technology allows capitalism to work for the many, not the few[/h]Mason is a powerful and fluent polemicist, and I admire the ambition of his book. Rewriting Marx is quite ambitious, isn't it? "I'm not setting myself up as the new Marx. I would say that somebody has to write this, because there is this big subcultural world of economists and social theorists who are already engaged in complex discussions of these very same ideas."
He has certainly caught the mood of a new generation of the left, the same tide carrying Jeremy Corbyn so high in the Labour leadership election. Not that he can talk about that, because of the impartiality requirements of public- service broadcasting and his employer, Channel 4: "It's bizarre. We can discuss whether or not Camus is a better novelist than Sartre, but I can't give you my opinion on whether Jeremy Corbyn would be a better leader than Andy Burnham."

Postcapitalist economy: Mason reporting from Greece last month
I'm interested, though, in how he has a platform in the mainstream media, which is supposedly so much a tool of neoliberalism. "I am quite happy to call myself a Marxist at the level of method," he says, "because historical materialism as a method is a great tool for understanding history" – but he doesn't like being labelled simply "a Marxist".
His assumptions and prejudices come from his experience, he says, not just his political experience as a revolutionary socialist in his twenties. "I was a Catholic schoolboy, schooled in Catholic social teaching. I was an atheist rebel. A priest tried to teach us biology, and mis-described the female reproductive system so badly that we all looked at each other and said, 'How can any of the rest be true?' We were all 14 years old and we had already explored the female reproductive system with the Catholic girls' school next door."
As a young man in Leigh, Greater Manchester, he was into northern soul Рin 2013, he made a documentary for the BBC, "a journey back into my past". He studied music at college, specialising in Sch̦nberg and atonalism Рavant-garde discordance, in other words.
"I was a raging leftie. I was a supporter of a group called Workers Power. But I wasn't getting anywhere with the music creatively, so I went into journalism at the age of 30, confident that because I could write polemical propaganda leaflets, news wouldn't be a problem."
Now, he says, "My interests are classic petit bourgeois. I'm a fascinated and dedicated classical-music person. I'm a big Wagner fan. I'm a big fan of Late Romanticism. I go to the Proms." He has a full-size piano-style keyboard in his front room. "Wish I had more time to play."
We are back full circle. The man who wants to start an economic revolution goes to the petit-bourgeois Proms and, although he "loves running around in slightly revolutionary places", seems quite at home in this gentrified corner of south London. During our interview, the doorbell rings, and Lottie the puppy goes to the pile of toys and takes a different one to the postman. I'm not convinced the gift economy will replace capitalism, but Paul Mason has a lovely dog.

The mystery schools had a 3 stage process for the initiate

Indeed you can see very quickly where different people are on that path

In the modern world we have various tools to try and get a handle on these concepts such as the 'VALS' system or maslows 'hierarchy of needs' which speaks of 'peak experiences'

The first chamber of the mystery schools was concerned with the generative organs which represented our base libidinal urges and violent impulses or what Jung would call the 'animal nature'

These are a vital part of our makeup required for procreation and also self-defence but if not managed can be chaotic and destructive

The next chamber was concerned with the mind and initiates would learn various intellectual pursuits like geometry, music of the spheres, astronomy, maths...the 7 liberal arts etc

This would start to move the initiates focus and energy towards that part of their being. The brain itself is split into two hemispheres with the left concerned with measurement and categorisation and seeing things as seperate whilst the right hemisphere sees everything as one and more holistically. The left brain deals with logic and the right brain deals more with abstract thought

The left side of the brain is known as the INTELLECT but when the left and the right brain are working harmoniously together in complement to each other a dynamic process occurs where the brain provides the combination of creative thinking with the means through which to realise its vision; this state is INTELLIGENCE

The third stage of the process is the heart chamber. Music and the arts were used in the process alongside entheogenic substances to assist the the heart to communicate with the brain and when all of the aspects of the human creature integrate and begin to fire together they create a dynamo that activiates other parts of the anatomy including the pineal gland which then generates the spirit energy allowing intuitive insight and inspiration. This then is GENIUS

The initiate in touch with their heart then receives the trust in their personal intuitive journey

As this persons consciousness expands the cosmos reverberates back with synchronicities and other outer events that are inexplicable and swiftly denied by people in the second chamber and still centred in their intellect but which begin to take on a profound and undeniable meaning to the initiate who begins to find a treasure more precious than any of the trinkets of the material world
