Linux... why?

Linux as a whole is extremely useful in quite a few scenarios. While I agree that it is not the most home-user friendly computer, it does have strengths which make it extremely dependable. For example, I would trust a Linux server over a Windows server any day. In addition, there are so many DIFFERENT branches of it, that if someone does not like one specific distribution, they can simply go and install a different one over it. Linux almost turns your computer completely into a fully customization computational system. It gives the feel of building your own OS without actually doing so.

I would not so quickly bounce on the Linux hate train because you find difficulty in operating the OS. There are multiple sides to every story. Hear them out before jumping to conclusions.
