Is this how any of you think?

Yup
Ok I was having a discussion about MBTI with my mother the other day. We at times are have a quite similar thought process despite the fact that she test ISFJ and ISTJ and I test INTJ and INFJ; this being the order of which one happens the most frequent. Yet at the same time we feel the test can be quiet stupid, to be honest. The questions are sometimes too definitive, too yes or no. It makes it hard to answer a lot of the questions.

For example the questions regarding emotions, logic and decisions. I never make a decision based simply on emotions but I do consider emotions and feelings depending on the decision. Like when I am deciding what I should have for breakfast. I always consider first what is the most healthy to cut down my choices then I make my final decision on what I

Yes.

I typed a very long, detailed paragraph
elaborating and then I realized you would
not care so I'm leaving it at "yes".

Ohh ok but long detailed paragraphs as long as they pertain to subject can be a good thing. I am always fascinated when people reveal their inner workings because then every detail in a way does matter and I always learn something new, or some new perspective but it is as you wish. :m107: I would care but it might not look it. I mean just because I posted I don't like details as long as the answer is the same but that is not 100% of the time, only when it comes to decision making and such. When it comes to other things like storytelling, sometimes details are good. I mean the chances of us sharing the exact same thinking process are very little because of the fact we were not raised in the same exact environment. I might not like details when it pertains to resolving issues but when it comes to understanding how things function and operate the details must at times be taken into account if you wish to understand more than the fact that they work. See this another trait of mine. I elaborate in fear that people will not understand the point I am trying to get across, so I write so much in hopes of keeping it simple and make it far more complicated. :m192:

It was really depressing.
You're probably better off not knowing this side of me.

Look, here I am, thinking of your emotions in place of mine.

(and I don't want any of you to think I have a problem, LOL)

Haha fair enough. No pressure at all. I have enough crazy sides of me to provide plenty of conversation, so no worries. Only I will be the one people consider to have a problem(well at least in this thread, hopefully not the rest :m169:).

Yes. The same way about problems. The logical thought process, then going with feeling. Seeing others problems that can't see.

and this also: "My question is, is it normal for INFJ
