I'm not sure if this was a direct-to-video release or a tv special that was later released on VHS....
It's about a man who plays the part of a child (man-child) who is afraid of monsters in his closet/room?? He is wearing pajamas and is the only human character seen in the video. You can hear his mother off-screen calling for him to be quiet several times. I believe his room is pretty colorless--mostly white. But then at the end, these felt mascot-looking "monsters" come into his room and start dancing and stuff.
I used to watch this growing up as I borrowed it from our local library. I can't find any info on it anywhere. The main actor, as I recall, resembled Chris Makepeace or Jeff Conaway or someone like that (it wasn't either of those people though).
