Anyone know of a website that is not so darned stubborn about chess?

I've been wanting to learn how to move up a level in playing chess but you're right, it's tough to find a website. I'm keeping an eye out for one.

Found chess tempo and like it so far, though one has to overlook when it doesn't see something. It tells you if you made a good move in tactics, but it is not what the computer sees as the best move. It makes one look for the fastest way to checkmate in the endgame scenarios it sets up for you.
Sorry, but so far I don't like chess.com.

just registered with chess.com but I need to practice with tactic learner. I'm making really bad mistakes.
