Help with a tune

For years I've had this instrumental jazz track stuck in my head on and off. I have no clue what it is or where I heard it, although I know it's a popular one that's often used in TV shows and movies. I want to say it's a newer piece from the 60's or 70's (Herb Alpert or Chuck Mangione style), but again, no clue really.

Anyone have some suggestions of what it could be, or where I might try looking to figure it out?

And just for reference, it's not this one ;)

Ah I remember this tune.

However without more specifics I can't help you. If you know it's used in tv shows and movies then try to come up with one of them where it's used. You'd have to know at least one to know that it was used, wouldn't you?

I almost want to say... Grand Theft Auto 3???? Problem is, I've been through that entire track list and came up with nothing close. It's a song you hear and say, "Of course I've heard this everywhere" but since it's an instrumental jazz piece, it's almost impossible to search for without something to go on.

Ah. If it's been used in the past 10 or 15 years then I probably can't help.
