It's so sad, he was an amazing drummer, and apparently a really loved friend. My thoughts are with his loved ones... 
i am sorry. I know how it feels when we lost a friend.
I'm not exactly a fan of theirs, although I looked up one of their songs a few days ago and was surprised at the quality of their live show. Everyone always praised this guy as a drummer, but I thought he was standard to above-average.
I'm guessing cocaine had something to do with it. One of my friends has seen them live, and apparently that's all they talked about in-between songs. Either way, it's pretty sad.
