Autism is very complex. We really don't know much about it. We do know that there are some genetic componants involved, especially the duplication of certain series. Apparently these kinds of genetic errors happen more often the sperm and eggs of older adults, especially men over 35. It does kind of make sense, as it's true that people in our society are delaying having kids until they are older, and at the same time Autism is increasing.
