Sorry for the delayed response - I somehow missed seeing this.

My girlfriend and I are also committed Christians. And we're finding out that selfless love is HARD! Even for Christians. Selfishness makes it so easy to ignore the other person and focus on our own wants/desires. But Christ is doing a good work in us!

Hi! I saw your thread, and while I haven't posted yet (we'll see if I have anything to add), I wanted to say I think that's a very awesome and noble thing you're doing. I wish more married folk would seek to learn how to make their spouses feel special. Kudos!
