    I know. Some might just be immature, some might be garden variety trolls, some might be genuinly confused, some might be ideologically opposed and determined to frustrate the efforts of the speaker and in this day and age of 'cyber warfare' some might even be agents working for the governemnt to try and disrupt the publics growing awareness

    I have debated with some people...very few, but some, on this forum who after a debate even acknowledged that what i was saying was right but that they did not want to see a more equal society. one even said he knew he was selfish and didn't care!

    So there are all kinds of posters out there. Its trying to determine which one you are dealing with. many can be convinced into discussing the issues but some just want to....to quote team america....''shit all over everything''

    Yeah ok....i think i wil try and put some positive stuff in the thread i started recently. that's if i can get certain people to stop attacking me for 5 minutes lol

    ooooh that's a big topic. I might need a bit of time to put an answer together. In the meantime i have been posting various ideas in Lerxst's 'alternatives to capitalism' thread in the news and politics section; that might be worth a look?

    That is my hope. I'm not sure what I will do if that hope fails. Probably become an autodidactic hermit or something.

    Mhm, I've also found it restorative to withdraw and re-consolidate myself.

    As for INTP forum: nope. It was a good learning experience for seeing a thought process juxtaposed to my own, but that is about all I got from it. I'm transferring schools in a week or so and will have precious little time for wild dashes into the far reaches of the tangled digital forest we call the Internet. Shrug.
