WOW really?? What do you do?
I plan on teaching ESL abroad for a while in the future. I'm currently enrolled in an English BA program, but am considering switching to Linguistics (I have no actual interest in majoring in English other than it potentially being necessary to enter the field in the future; however, I love linguistics--it's like math but with language!). I'm going to do a teaching internship abroad this fall, most likely somewhere in southeast Asia. You said you've done a lot of travelling. Do you have any tips or know about how the English teaching situation there is evolving?
