Quintessence

I'm a man of INTJ extraction. I do philosophy, but I live religion. I have a fondness for children and find most adult humans to be unfit for anything except perhaps keeping their children fed so that I don't have to see them starving. I love coffee though I can go days without it. I'm definitely in shape and healthy.

I have a strong aesthetic streak although I prefer functionality and action. Action and function, but I feel and think deeply about things. I'm compassionate, but not for the wrong people, and not for the wrong reasons. I have a large supply of gleaming white t-shirts, and my black shoes are always shiny. My room is a mess that I can understand, but most would find it to be semi-neat.

I am the destroyer of lemmings.

Meditation, Philosophical Contemplation, Chess, Reading and Writing, Music esp Classical Music, Martial Arts, Fitness, Nutrition, Mathematics and Logic, Puzzles and Games, Animals, Children, and Women. Not necessarily in that order.

Biography
I was born in Oklahoma City in 1976, joined the U.S. Army as an infantryman, enlisted, in 1997 when I was 21, then honorably completed my service in 2000. I moved to Austin then and have lived here for almost 13 years now. I completed four years of university education in philosophy and am one semester short of a B.A. in the subject, although I feel that very little of what went on there had much to do with the subject.

I'm undecided about how much detail to include, so this will conclude my "biography".
In descending order, which 6 things could you never do without?
There is nothing in this world I "can't do without". But

SOMETIMES...

all I need is the air that I breathe and to love you....

All I need is the air that I breathe..........................
What would be your epitaph?
Is that what they write on your tombstone?

The man we knew is gone, the spirit we loved lives on
Though we all were unworthy, he rarely held it against us
But only asked that we keep improving, ever and anon
And although his poetry was highly self-serving
His mind and heart served the good for its own sake
His will and word always true and unswerving
And this last line he commended us to write:

He always strove to fight the good fight.

If you wanted modesty and self-deprecation
Then I'm NOT for you, nor you for me.
Please move on without hesitation
