  • Alright I see what you were trying to get at in the first message. Being content with no meaning. I understand and agree with that, but how does it come about? To start over with no expectations?

Oh and yes, you have worded that last bit better than what I meant.
Trying to finish that pm lol. I keep rewriting and deleting a section.

Some people have less fulfilling lives than others. Why is it that we only turn to God in times of need? Why is it that we resort to reductionist philosophies when we feel helpless? If you were living a fulfilling life you would not have time to think about these things, so what does that mean? It means that you cannot be sure of which lifestyle is the right one to adhere to. Why follow nihilism? Why existentialism? Why taoism? Why religion? Why strive for monetary success? Why loathe and sulk all day? Why do nothing? Why do something?

Call me philosophically shallow, but I know that if I had an intimate relationship with someone I loved, good relations between my family, a time-consuming & interesting occupation etc I would not care that life is "meaningless". I would be too busy enjoying life.

What good does it do to sit around and ponder what has been pondered for centuries?

Nothing personal, this is just what I was thinking as I read what you sent.
No framework, no definitions. Eh, not like it really matters in this instance. It doesn't really matter if the subject at hand is one which could only be understood in one context.
Still thinking. Though what do you think about objects/fields?
I may not reply right away btw, I'll be off.
Yes, what I typed in that thread I still do consider valid, though in retrospect I could have been more concise and less arrogant. I also was biased because there are many reasons why a person would be knowledgeable and interested in philosophy.

There is a phenomenon which may be causing problems. That is, the tendency of the Role function to be expressed. I initially thought you were Fi, then as you brought up your interests in STEM areas, Ti, and now Fi again. See, with Irrationals it's more or less easier to handle because you're judgment would not be subject to this tendency. Judgment is pretty much the determining factor in how a person expresses themself. You can't observe me switching between Ni/Si because I'm on the internet and my choice of language is very subtle.

Later then, while I figure out how to clean up this mess. And also get those other PMs out.
They really cut Gamma short...they're portrayed to be capitalistic tight wads which is far from the truth if you consider all of the values. I don't agree with most of the perspectives. I guess the information is useful only after you understand the theory in practice.

Hmm. LSI/IEI is possible, you don't seem too emotive for the latter though. But I'm 100% on valuing Ti
You wouldn't be exhibiting confirmation bias, now, would you? :p
Alpha/Gamma is ambiguous too though. Alpha quadra says "theorizes for the sake of fun", which I think can go for Gamma also.
I thought you were taking awhile to reply lol. I must have accidentally deleted it when I was archiving the messages. If you still have it in your Sent box, could you resend it?

Anyway, it doesn't matter, I really don't pay attention to those.
Just the possibility of other types.
Head on over to the16types and see if you fit into the Alpha section.
Hmm, yeah coming from MBTI, Ti/Te IM elements are pretty inconclusive. As functions, the processes are completely unexpected from what you read.

We haven't fully excluded other types, but if it were down to ILI/LII, I'm certain it's the latter.
    Is this what you did?:
    Browser settings->Clear Cache->restart browser
Try it again, if it didn't. If you already did, what browser are you using?
