If you're not too sure about WP yet, maybe you should start off with tumblr.
It's relatively... 'low-maintenance' (if this is the right word ^_^).

Btw, I relate with having difficulties expressing anger. I either keep it in,
or fly into a rage (though that's rare). You're right about having to find balance.
