I am 57, and "disabled" from old football injuries, diabetes, and depression. I worked 32 years in the medical field as an assistant in surgery, and as a first assistant for specialty surgeons. I love the natural sciences, cosmology, philosophy, astrology (done a couple hundred charts), I've played guitar for 40 years, have played tournament chess, and enjoy many sports. I am a Ham Radio operator and have worked something like 220 countries around the world. I enjoy educational TV, history, psychology, and the esoteric. I am an overachiever.

Biography
Borm in Charleston, WVa 5-29-53, we moved to Fort Smith, AR when I was 3 years old. I love the area, but have spent time in Chicago, Omaha, Nashville, and Dallas. I can't imagine living anywhere else. My Dad was a WW2 Marine Sgt. and my Mom did a litle singing in the Grand Ole Opry around 1950. They were totally opposites, and I am a Gemini, which makes perfect sense to me! Since being diagnosed 8 years ago with chronic depression, I've had a TON of therapy and take my meds every day and do well. I have become a trained facilitator for a group called NAMI, the Nat'l Assoc for Mental Illness, and help others with similiar problems.
