How pissed off are you at 'the man'?

I'm wondering if he was being congratulated by Americans. The student loan system is different here, and a lot of people are justifiably pissed about how bad it's gotten. They may not have read the whole thing, maybe they assumed he was American as well. Or maybe they just don't understand that...

    Obama v Romney 1st debate - who won ?

It is not a wast to vote for a third party candidate. This is a self fulfilling prophesy; because people think it's imposable for them to win, they don't vote for third party candidates thereby making it imposable for them to win. The more people who break out of this mindset the closer we can...

    Obama v Romney 1st debate - who won ?

Any kind of minority; be it race, religion, sexual orientation, anything that you can think of. If a person is in a minority and the government becomes such that it will not treat that minority fairly, then it will be incredibly hard for the minority voice to be heard. I believe that we all...

    Obama v Romney 1st debate - who won ?

chulo. That's an interesting concept, but I don't see how it can hold true for any kind of minority.

    Obama v Romney 1st debate - who won ?

I have no idea what party you vote for. I have made no comments in regards to particular partys being more selfish then others. I was only saying that when you said you wish only to vote in your own self interest, that this indeed makes you sound selfish. Let me put an emphases on the word...

    Obama v Romney 1st debate - who won ?

I don't see why I shouldn't vote for things/people that leave us all with freedoms and opportunity. It would be despicable for me to vote in such a way that left only me and people like me doing well.

    Obama v Romney 1st debate - who won ?

Of course I don't know you. I am going strictly by the things that you said. I never said a word about your contributions to society, and I don't know where you got that from.

    Obama v Romney 1st debate - who won ?

The debates are really primitive. It's all abut body language. It gos back to the idea that we need the biggest bad ass to defend us, but that is no where near true in modern times. We need the person with the best ideas, the best plan, and a person who will actually give a dam about the people...

    Obama v Romney 1st debate - who won ?

This kind of thinking makes me lose hope for humanity. Other people matter just as much as you do. The needs of other people matter just as much as your needs do. Other people are just as real and valid as you are. You are wrong when you say everyone votes that way, I vote based on my needs...

    "Gay" High Schools

Another thing that you may want to consider is that not all of the problems come from school. A lot of these kids don't have supportive parents. If I had an LGBT child and I couldn't get the school system to provide them a safe environment, then I would pull my kid out of that school in a...

    INFJ's darker side and anger

I do have the ability to cut down to the truth in people (once I see them clearly). The reason that I tell people the truth about themselves is not to hurt them though, it is in hopes that by knowing themselves they will become better people. I don't tell everyone everything about themselves...

    "Gay" High Schools

I have to agree with those who think that segregation would be a bad idea (even voluntary segregation). Kids need a chance to get used to diversity right away. I know that public school is miserable for LGBT kids, (and they don't just drop out they kill themselves), but society needs them to be...

    First dates

I consider the activities completely unimportant. As for conversation I talk about politics and religion right away. I try to dig down to what a person's core beliefs are, and I like to see how they will react to disagreeing with me. Or rather I used to. I haven't dated in a long time now.
