I'm 24 and working on my M.A. in literature (emphasis in the Victorian period). Currently I work as a graduate assistant at the university I attend, which means I do research for professors, make copies, grade papers, and do other menial tasks, but I also get to do some really cool things like help the prof. I work for copy-edit her book.

I love reading comic strips (Cul de Sac, Pearls Before Swine, Calvin and Hobbes, Speedbump, etc.). In fact, one of the first things I do every day is read my comics, of which I probably read around thirty daily.

I enjoy music; I played the violin for eight years, from elementary through high school. Mostly I like mid to late 90's rock, stuff like Matchbox 20 and the Goo Goo Dolls, but I also listen to classical music, a little bit of jazz, and pretty much anything besides hip hop and rap. 3 Doors Down, Dave Matthews Band, and Tracy Chapman are some of my favorites.

Soccer is my favorite sport. I no longer play, but I'm super excited about the new Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) league!
