    Sooo...I've got an INFJ boyfriend.

I'm an INFJ male, and I dated an INTJ female a two GFs ago. My advice is that there are times that your T really won't understand his F, and vice versa. You really need to learn to work together. NF/NT pairings are very, very good and rewarding, but like any relationship, it depends upon the...

    Guilty about being single

This applies to men too. I'm almost 35 years old. I've had a few girlfriends over the past year, but seemingly can't maintain a relationship that lasts longer than a few months, for a variety of reasons. I was married once before, but got divorced, because she was just the wrong person for...

    Vegetarians and meat-eaters

I'm a vegetarian. While I've dated non-veg ladies, no chance in hell am I cooking meat for them, so they at a minimum need to be cool with eating veggie (and I really like to cook). Long story short, it's easier if I date another vegetarian or a vegan, or someone who's willing to be converted ;-)

Knowledge is power: true or false?

Never stop learning and never think that you know everything. I find that every time I think I've got something figured out, I learn something new, so I try to keep learning instead.

    mediating personalities in conflict

I learned in the business world, to give feedback in this form "positive, positive, negative, positive". That theory can apply to most any situation. Tell someone 2 nice things, then say the criticism that you wanted to give, then say one more positive to wrap it up nicely. Example...

What is an INFJ's view on an ENTP?

One of my best female friends is an ENTP, and I'm an INFJ male, so I can field some of this. I learned that the NT/NF pairing from my relationship with the INTJ is a pretty good paring, but it is challenging. When it's good, it's good. But when you clash, you generally clash. A female with a...

Do You Ever Feel Guilty For Feeling Good?

I am happy as hell of late, and I am awaiting being struck by lightening or being hit by a bus any day now. Maybe it's perfectionism, but I've never had a run where pretty much everything is going perfectly and had it be sustainable for an extended length of time. I also have had lots of bad...

You act as if I'm a score, or something ;-)

    S versus N

All good points. My Enneagram is 2 for the person who asked- helpfulness... I figured out some specific examples of S versus N once I asked the question. Example: We were making dinner, and she was cutting the vegetables while I emptied the dishwasher (and I was ultimately doing the...

    S versus N

I'm in a relationship with an ESFJ. I am trying to hone in on the core differences between her S and my N. What can we learn from each other? What strengths do we each possess? What weaknesses do we need to help the other watch out for?

Are you easily charmed OR do you charm easily?

I'm easily charmed in that I generally see the good in most people, even if there isn't a heck of a lot of good, or it's a person who I should avoid all together. This is a downfall for me that I need to be aware of. Also, when somebody is "in" with me, they are super "in", and it sometimes...

How long would you date for?

Depends how old you are and on your relationship with the significant other. In general, if you're under 30, you might want to consider the 2-3 year time frame. Over 30, probably the 1-2 range. For me personally, I'm 34 so it's getting to be do or die time for kiddo's, depending upon the age...

Is the ENTP-INFJ thing a mirage?!

One of my best female friends is an ENTP, and I've gotta say, I couldn't date that Myers Briggs. We talk Myers Briggs, life, love, and happiness all the time, but the conclusions a ton of the time is "I just don't understand how you think!" Don't get me wrong, it's great to be well rounded and...
