An Ode to horror films;

The Hammer house of horror,
Would terrify us through the night,
Staying up so late,
For a scary Friday fright.
Creaky stairs and footsteps,
Vampires, ghosts and ghouls,
Hiding behind the sofa,
Whilst the blood swam into pools.
What's that sound approaching,
Please no, it can't be true!
It's mum opening the curtains..
Time to go to school..
"Arghhhhhh noooo ... "
