Made some nice nature shots today, hopefully with good results (ducks washing). Files copying, fingers crossed.

Oh yeah...and one of the lenses fell out of the bag, broke a bit off the sun cover of one of my lenses...thankfully it's just that..

Wish there was a proper and fast way to swap these lenses.

Yeah, it's an SLR, the lens dropping was my own dumb fault lol, the bag was open while I was mounting the lens, so the old one slipped out of it. Lesson learnt. When swapping/adjusting, do it patiently. I also always just go with 2 lenses at the same time in that regard (so I won't be swapping too often).

Yeah it seems Nikon is more favored nowadays in regards to Image Quality, Canon being the overexpensive one. But I had a 60D for a long time so I just kept on with the brand, upgraded the kit etc. Overall happy with it and the body/lenses are built like a tank.

Bought everything 2nd hand by the way. So I didn't invest a fortune in the whole gear. Took me days to find the lenses I wanted. The one I'm lending now is a 24-105mm f4 L lens. First L series I'm using, fits right in between the one's I currently have. Curious how the pictures will look like.

Yeah, they are. Using ultra low dispersion lenses to minimise chromatic abbaration. There are however lenses in the "regular" line that have similar image quality. One being the EFS 17-55mm I'm using.

It's part of the fun as well in my opinion, finding these lenses that don't cost a fortune like the L series but provide good images. The 24-105mm will be the only L series I'll be buying though, it's affordable on the 2nd hand market. (series I and II of this one are similar in image quality, so a lot of people are selling the first I cheaply for the sake of upgrading).
