@Deleted member 16771 a lot of people are that important to me. All I want is for one of them to return it. I don't think that's asking too much. One person. A friend who legitimately feels the way I do about people.

@April Do you know for sure that they don't reciprocate to the same magnitude you do?

@Deleted member 16771 if they do, they are pretty good at acting like they don't. It's ok I don't expect them to I guess, because I can be pretty overwhelming. So I'm basically asking someone to smother me. I'm the one that has to realize it's irrational. It's okay. Pity party ended. :)

@April I was talking to my barber today and she said she is not very affectionate but that doesn't mean she didn't love. I think a lot of people are like this; is it called 'avoidant attachment'?

P.s. My proper barber was busy (this cool Scottish guy).

Do you think it might be to do with the high level of intimacy and affection we require?

@Deleted member 16771 it's Not about that, I don't necessarily need affection. I just want someone to be there for me like I would be for them. Idk it's hard to explain.

I want to be loved like I love. Hard and strong and deep and unconditional. Nothing can break it. This can be platonic I'm not strictly speaking of some other romantic partner although that would be nice haha
