Just has a bundle branch block on Wenesday last week....so the pain has been significantly less...however, I've come to realize I sleep like shit regardless hahaha..must have gotten up at least 4 times last night, then permanently at 5.... Weekend or not!
I catch up meditating...and sometimes I will go from meditating into a nap since I'm so relaxed by that point.

My art projects have been sporatically worked on.
Honest truth I still have ways to go on that butterfly.
So far so go though....and like I said, no obligation when I'm done...I can always find a buyer or can hold it for you as long as you wish also.

This is why working in the OR would be difficult to do, unless they had some kind of....extra on call deal where I can decide if I want to come in...like they could call if they needed someone and see how I am feeling. I miss surgery...more so I miss just physically helping people....maybe I can do some eye surgeries...which involves me and the doctor both sitting at the surgical microscope...so sitting is good. Lol

Same with that da Vinci surgical robot we had...you basically set up all the arms on the robot, and attach what ever tools they my need but the rest of the time you sit....occasionally having to swap a tool out. I just can't do the really fun cases like neuro or trauma, or hearts....just would be too hard on my body and unfair to the patient who deserves everyone to be at their best.

No worries on that butterfly! In fact, you should only work on it when you're feeling especially inspired :p

Lol, yeah, I sleep like shit too, regardless of pain level. We should just add insomnia to the list of maladies.

Robots will eventually replace most surgeons, I think. When I was in perioperative, I was able to sit in on a great deal of cases from neuro to cosmetic.

Basically sat there on my little stool, taking notes and timestamping and occasionally assisting when needed. It was extremely interesting to observe, and much less harder on you since you weren't on your feet the entire time. But, you're so much less involved. :/

You're probably more like me and feel more fulfilled working hands on. That double -edged sword when your body just is no longer capable. *hugs*

That’s exactly it...I could never do a desk job.
I like to be right there working hands on like you said.
The butterfly is still getting worked on, as is a special wand for Serenity...and I do make sure that I am in the right frame of mind before working on them. I wholeheartedly believe that you can transfer some of your emotions or self into your art.
I want it to be great!
Much love!
