It's pretty surreal.

I was so ticked reading that hate I decided it best not to respond atm. So again, kudos to you for being level headed in the face of that.

Ha it's more like a feeling of anger without words, and if I tried to conjure up the words it would all probably just be unintelligible anger. These are strange times we are entering into it seems. And though we're all capable of anger and cruelty, it's best not to fight fire with fire. Have a good day!

I understand that. I bite my tongue a lot on here sometimes...hahaha....I’m sure you can tell...lol.
Anyway...I think they really are a small (though loud) percentage of the population that think this way. If anything, these kinds of actions will solidify the resistance to them, not empower more racists.

If people are stupid enough, (which really means lazy enough),they can talk themselves into any kind of shit they want to it seems to me.

I am just floored that we may have to fight this fight here in our country...not that racism ever has been nonexistent, there have been times when it hasn’t been so blatant and grotesque...but I have hope that there will come a day in the future where we can move beyond such petty, petty, hateful BS.

I hope so too. I also fear it's a symptom of a more widespread trend that is taking place, also outside the US.
